It's not amateuristic, just the title is off.. That's not how to beat 4-3-3 tiki with a 3-5-2...that's a specific game plan to beat a specific team, there's a difference. That's an Italy team whos strenghts play into Spain's weakness one of which is they are poor in the air and Italy was very disciplined to point of perfection (if you want to call a draw effective). You can't always count to be perfect and 3-5-2 leaves no room for error against very top sides..those wingbacks have to be just perfect, in attack and defense and be worls class really if not the whole system crumbles. 3-5-2 should be outlawed and extinct :D

Cuadrado Khedira Pogba Asamoah
Dybala Mandzukic

Main Substitutes: Barzagli Rugani Evra Caceres / Marchisio Sturaro Pereyra / Morata Zaza

Like this, we don't waste Dybala on the wing, we keep two strikers and more importantly we could finally have two actual wingers on each side of the pitch, along with the wing defenders. Since i think we are, by far, less armed on the central area of the midfield than the previous years, we should focus on being more efficient on the wings. Next year we should buy a true left winger and we should be fine, either on this 4-4-2 or 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1. As long as we stop using wing-backs as wingers i'm good... And IMO Cuadrado HAVE to be on the starting 11, along with Dybala he can be deadly.

As much as I dislike 3-5-2 admiteddly it has always worked in the league because of inferior competition, number of matches, and style of football in CL etc..switching would be nice if we would be able to do it..if we switch we need to move pogba up and lessen his defensive duty. Something like 4-2-3-1..imagine our golden boy copying messi and unleashing hell on any defence, cutting in, switching, a freed up pogba exchanging with him, cuadrado pace in full use etc..we free up our four in front by having two dedicated stoppers.

Also no marchisio in lineup means nobody will ever take you seriously in life

Marchisio should be starter in all formations

Thats the worst post i've seen in years
Pogba and Marchisio are good but not enought to boss a midfield without a Pirlo or Vidal. btw I love Marchisio, he would often start often instead of Khedira. As long as we stop using this weak 352. So yeah, we should focus more on the wings instead of keep playing with three full-backs and only two offensive players on the pitch. We manage to win those past games because we play with 5 defenders, how modern is that...!? Worst thing is that it looks like some noobs are ok with it and don't see the problem in playing with only one guy on each wing.. But this mean he has to attack and defend all his side, and won't be able to make it right either way.

Your post was a bit useless don't you think kid?

So i see that your last post is called "how to beat a 433 tiki taka with 352" i now know that you have a big sense of humour.. Or need to learn more about football.

I don't know how you can make statements like "Or need to learn more about football" when you're the one who is taking away the main strength of our team. We should always continue with three midfielders and Marchisio really has to be there he's our most important player.

You're also stating about how modern is that towards our current formation but then you suggest playing 442 which is quite probably the least modern formation in the world of football. I understand you might feel like your tactic would be better for us but if you only re-watch one game from our current run it becomes very obvious it would not be.

il brutto : thanks for your constructive post. Sure our midfield is strong, but not enought to be, with two wing-backs, the only help for our strikers. Or we could play in 4-3-3 and keep those tree midfielders. It could be the best option if Dybala can play alone in striker.

4-3-3 would work but I don't think we have the players for that with all of Mandzukic/Dybala/Morata/Zaza being most comfortable at the center. We're only Pereyra coming back plus one signing away from fielding a very strong 4-3-1-2 which suits us well imo. It will be interesting to see what we do with the Berardi situation and how that will affect our formation next season.

This, basically.

That guy takes out our best midfielder, Marchisio, fields two inferior benchplayers, cuadrado and asamoah, wich means Pogba , one of our two key creators, gets cupped offensively and moved to a more supportive role.
So you end up with two cm's, of wich neither prefers to be the most holding player, and both are best at moving forward.

Our 3-5-2 is 5 times better. This is just another piss formation with the only goal to field a different formation then the 3-5-2 because thats evil.

An assymetrical 4-3-3 worked for a while before dybala got proper in sync and mandzukic was out injured, so cuadrado's offensive impact was an improvement.

Currently, our 3-5-2 starters are performing SO much better as they were back then, that cuadrado became a bench player, and dybala has to be the SS. Therefore 4-3-3 is out of the window

I think Allegri will have all three formations as options next season depending on player form opposition and the situation. I'm speaking about 3-5-2, 4-3-1-2 and 4-3-3.
