Thanks bro...really appreciate your support. It's really messed up at the moment; so much blood everywhere...
To make things worse, all means of communication is shot down in Syria; I can't reach my family since two days!

It's really a nightmare...

Unfortunately, there seems no end to the blood...

Syria has turned into Iraq 2.0.
It's not opposition against regime right now. it's terrorism, and the only victims are the innocent people.

Have you heard about "Jama3et Jabhet el Nasra" ? They are putting the flag of Al-Qaeda instead of the Syrian one in every place they control, and they started to put their own rules (like prohibiting women from deriving cars)!!!

You could imagine the mess this country is nowadays...

Sorry to hear that. Hopefully they are safe.

Anonymous has already warned every country in the world against shutting down the Internet.

They will definitely do something.

Voting elections will take place next year no? Around March of April I guess.

I think Bashar is relying on that as that's the only thing left, thing is I don't think elections will take place.

It's on March but I think in 2014 because it's every 7 years and Bashar took over in 2000! :boh:
But as you said, elections will do nothing as the opposition doesn't want him (Bashar) at all!

Syrians now main concern is stopping the terrorist attacks that kill a lot of innocent people, they don't give shit about the conflict between the regime and the rebels.

Dozens killed in air strike on bakery in central Syria

23 December 2012 / REUTERS, AMMAN,
Dozens of people were killed and wounded in an air strike on a bakery in Syria's central Hama province on Sunday, activists said, with some reporting up to 200 dead.

"There is no way to really know yet how many people were killed. When I got there, I could see piles of bodies all over the ground. There were women and children," said Samer al-Hamawi, an activist in the town of Halfaya, where the strike hit. "There are also dozens of wounded people"

Halfaya was seized by rebels last week as part of a campaign to push into new territories in the 21-month-old revolt against President Bashar al-Assad,

Another activist said residents picking through the bodies were still determining which were wounded and which were dead.

Hamawi, who spoke via Skype, uploaded a video of the scene, which showed dozens of dust-coated bodies lined up near a pile of rubble by a concrete building, its walls blackened.

The sounds of people screaming could be heard in the video, as some men rushed to the scene on motorcycles and other residents limped away from the area.

The authenticity of the video could not be immediately verified. The government restricts media access in Syria.

Activists said more than a thousand people had been queuing at the bakery. Shortages of fuel and flour have made bread production erratic across the country, and people often wait for hours to buy bread.

New York-based Human Rights Watch condemned army air strikes on bakeries earlier this year, arguing that in some incidents the military was not using enough precision to target rebel sites and in other instances may have intentionally hit civilians.

"We hadn't received flour in around three days so everyone was going to the bakery today, and lots of them were women and children," Hamawi said. "I still don't know yet if my relatives are among the dead."

he might be a huge supporter of nasser, and thats sth i can understand considering the friendship he had with nasser, but he does speak with facts to be honest fred. not to mention i think on jsc he did say the pan arab era has been long dead and would never be revived and thats true. nassirites are not the only hypocrites around in the arab world, i think the islamists are doing a much better job taking this title.

Assad forces kill 106 in city of Homs

17 January 2013 / REUTERS, AMMAN,
More than 100 people including women and children were killed by forces loyal to Syrian President Bashar al-Assad on Tuesday in Homs, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said on Thursday.

The Britain-based group said some of the 106 victims were burned in their homes and others were either shot or stabbed when pro-Assad forces stormed Basatin al-Hasawiya, a impoverished district of the central Syrian city.

Reuters cannot independently confirm reports due to reporting restrictions in Syria.

"The Observatory has the names of 14 members of one family, including three children, and information on other families who were completely killed, including one of 32 people," Rami Abdelrahman, head of the Observatory, told Reuters.

"This needs to be investigated by the United Nations," said Abdelrahman, who reports on atrocities committed by both sides of the 22-month-old conflict.

Syria's conflict began as a peaceful protest movement in March 2011 and has since become a full-scale civil war that has claimed more than 60,000 lives.
