Many Syrians suffered, and they suffer for years, most of them, and specially the poor workers were treated like shit. Some of them are inhuman, their hatred is unlimited, I don't blame them for hating Syria for what they did in Lebanon, actually I said that to Rab many times, but some of them can't control their hate, and instead spread it on Syrian citizen, no matter what they think stand for the regime. Rab knows this, he should have controlled himself, it's a special subject, for example I or you can't talk shit about Lebanon, that automatically turn to hatred.

I am not a patriotic or any kind, but if I were you, my blood would boil if some foreigner called your citizens idiots or mock of them (for their political view). You should also oppose that yourself. I am not talking about civilized arguments here, I had it with many of you, but I am talking about childish ones, the mocking and name callings..

of course I am not asking the thread to close for disliking the argument, actually it's the childish way that is bothering me, the thread should be moderated, cause it is disgusting, and it's not just me, Rami felt the same way.. Do it in mature way, without insults and with respecting, no one would mind it..
I am tired explaining this over and over again, I will do it for the last time, and after this feel free to believe what you want.

I have not insulted the Syrian people, never. I have never mocked their people too. I insulted the regime? Yes I did. Do I think Rami and you are living in a world of lies? Yes I do. Do I mock Rami of what his country is passing through? No. Do I mock him for believing extremists will take over? Yes.

I see nothing wrong in this. You can agree or disagree with me. It's fine with me. At the end of the day I will not assassinate you.

You're taking it too far and you've spoken enough on my behalf.

I agree with you Snoop, of course I wouldn't appreciate if someone called Syrians or a group of Syrians idiots, but that doesn't make me a less of a patriotic as much as it makes him an idiot.

I can't understand why some think that criticizing the regime = criticizing Syrians.

It's a stupid question, and even more stupid to conclude things from the answer. Can't believe that's coming from Hoori..
You'd better get used to these questions because they will one day haunt you and you won't sleep as easy as you do now. Why is this stupid? Because you don't have an answer for? Nothing is wrong with that if you have no clue about an estimation of people killed by the government, it will just say that you are not qualified enough to tell us where we should get the news from because as someone who is living in Syria you yourself have no clue about the number of people killed by the government. Give me an estimation, I'm yet to draw a conclusion so it's a bit weird to call a conclusion stupid when there is not even one yet.

I lost a lot of respect for Nasrallah by the way. I know politics is a dirty game, but seeing him singing the praises of the Syrian regime made me sick. I can't believe i defended the guy for so long.

Snoop, i don't know if you are referring to me as well in this or not. I wouldn't want to insult you or Rami in any of this, in fact when i saw that Rami was sensitive about this issue from the start, i told him in private that whatever i say in this thread and no matter how much we disagree, because obviously we're going to disagree a lot, i told him that no matter what, nothing was personal and that i respected him in all cases. Now i think i can speak for everyone here when i say that none of us ever meant to mock you guys feelings or anything, it might sound like that because we are on completely different sides of the spectrum, but i'm sure it was nobody's intention at all. I'm also sure nobody would like to see you leave the forum, so i seriously seriously hope it never comes down to that.
Maybe it's not intentional, and I am sure Rab is not doing it with intention. But even if it was not intentional, it still disgusts to read them, like I said, this is not a regular subject, a country is being destroyed, our future is all black, this is not a 9/11 or anything small like that, we are talking about a war and possible destruction in the end, and yet some of you can't see or understand our feelings and concerns, sometime you have to act like matures, and know where the limit is or not. I said it to Rebel, and he also ignored it.

You can't ask for this thread to be closed and ask members not to post here anymore. I don't understand if this thread is getting on your nerves just don't post in this thread. No one is forcing you post here. We have threads for almost 30 countries and none of them is closed not even the American one when sep11 was discussed several times.

I don't want you to leave the forums but I am not going to do what you ask for.
That's not true. Many religion threads or 9/11 threads were closed because it started to hurt feelings, and now I can understand Americans very well for their feelings.

Mock Armenian genocide, I wouldn't feel this way.. this is present, our current concern, like I said I am sick of being concerned about the future (naturally this is being discussed in the country 24/7, everyone is depressed and worried) I run from the atmosphere to here to have some laugh, to forget what's going on in the country for few hours, yet I see many worse reaction here, some people making jokes and having laughs about what's happening here (be it Bashar or what his supporters are doing, and that is to keep the country away from troubles or destruction, or what me and Rami discussing with others).

To be honest, I am disappointed to see your careless reaction in the end, you prefer spreading your hatred in the thread, than me leaving the forum, well that's what internet friendship about anyway lol

I was sick of reading these kind of comments in the forum, and today it reached the boiling point, if it goes on don't be surprised if I left, or don't ask me why I stopped posting, cause you know the answer very good..

Nasrallah would be like a fish without water if the regime is to go down. This is why he's taking it too far, he's ready to do anything to save the regime.

Spread hatred? By bashing the regime I am spreading hatred? You make me feel like I'm the oldest one here and all of you are bunch of 10yo and I'm trying to change your mentalities. Each one knows himself better and is free to believe in whatever he wants.

thats easy gaith :D we r sooooooooooooooooooooooooo emotional as a region that its soooooo easy to tell us you know when they say regime X is a son of a w**** it actually means the Xmillion inhabitants of the country. this is arabs main problem in my opinion and its not just syrians this is from morocco to the gulf sadly. i personally fell in this several times whether in school or even in this forum. the media specially in countries where media is strong like here ( its rubbish yes but it reaches you some way or the other) they put u in a place where u r fed lies as facts and they glorify things which dont exist there r several examples for this. when u just step back and put all the emotions aside and look at it from out side u realize the bastards are playing us.
