so snoop whats your take on this? how will it unfold tomorrow?
Everyone is expecting a bloody day, don't know if you read president's speech, it was terrible, provocative to some. All the major conflicts were in the city called Latakia these last days, but today it seems this is the chance for everyone who oppose to appear and join the previous demonstraters, and mainly Kurdish Syrians, they kept telling every channel that they will go out for the first time. The government's stand against Kurds are known, so it will be bloody against them I am afraid, the city I live in (Aleppo) never witnessed any demonstration against Bashar, there were many from his supporters, and there are a lot of Kurds in this city, so I might see for the first time his opposition here, that never happened here for 30 years (against him or his father when he was in charge).

Big day really, everything will be clear in 10 hours or so..

Thanx man! Did you contact them? Latakia is a crazy place, one of the main bases of Alawites, I thought that's the last place any conflict would happen, I have a friend there too, he is not going out of home for days. My city is the calmest one so far, nothing at all happened so far, we will see what's going on in the country starting from tomorrow :frown2:

The majority is Alawis in Latakia, don't know if there are Kurds there, but there are lots of Sunni and some Christians, Alawi are always in the coast area, from Syria to Turkey, they are all spread on the coast side cities.
