Oh what a guru you are :cronios: Lay your wisdom upon us please :agree:
@Alen i think some points are in order?
The Guru League 2025 is exclusively focused on Juventus transfers. The professionals competing are specialists in Juve deals and concentrate solely on our club. We can't expect them to be familiar with transfers involving other teams.

That's why AndreaCristiano won't receive negative points for Retegui, unless he specifically predicted that he would join Juve.

I'd also like to point out that any edited post from the experts will result in a -10 point penalty. If they edit a post two or more hours after publishing it, they will get -10 pts. If they do this twice, they will be eliminated. I am keeping track of everything they've posted and will review this thread again before the final day.

Sounds like targets for AS Roma
Why do we need to sign Caprile? Even if Perin leaves, can't we just use Gori? I thought we had no money.

If it was me, I would probably sign Leoni and Hjulmand. Hancko stats worry me, Saudi players don't exist to me, Belardi is like 50M, and Hot Spurt rejects aren't cool.

Just a friendly reminder that the stuff you're reading and being fed on our transfers is mostly fake, made up bullshit to funnel clicks and revenue to accounts.

Hjulmand is no way worth 40 mill if we can get Xhaka down to like 10 mill or less he'd be equally as good if not a better signing.

Yet it was reported from reliable gurus. We can take lessons on who was reliable. Maybe the truth is somewhere in the middle.

Alot might disagree but the Saudi league will rival the top European leagues within a few years if it already hasn't. No FFP unlimited resources in money, they can almost buy who they want. There will be exceptions but before long players wont care all that much about European competitions and would sooner set themselves and their family for life. We'd be foolish to think this wont last, because it sure is.
Maybe. But didn't people say the same about the Chinese league?

How did the tournament go? I missed your recap.
It was great experience, lots of amazing people in a great city, I'd strongly recommend Valencia for a holiday, even visited the Mestalla and did the stadium tour one afternoon.
Honestly to say I competed at the O35s European championship, given I suffered a horrific injury 2 years ago which I was supposed to retire from caps it off seems like a great comeback story in itself, im already aiming for next year's O35s hockey world cup.
Had a near death experience collapsing in 38 degree weather right after our final match vs the Netherlands, so was under medical watch for several hours, at least 7 players were already hospitalised due to the extreme heat we had there.

I bet Juve have checked in with Sancho's agent to see his interest in potentially coming here and is an option down the road, but I think trying to figure out deals for Conceicao (and Kolo Muani) are a higher priority right now.

Sancho fits the profile we're looking for, i.e., an out of favor player available on loan.

Maybe. But didn't people say the same about the Chinese league?
The Chinese league was never meant to bring in lots of top players, the clubs were meant to nurture home grown talent in the view of building a strong NT, they even had a rule that goalkeepers had to be nationalised Chinese, ofc the end goal never materialised. Saudi dont care they just want to bring as many top players and managers in to the league as they can.

Also the stark difference is football is the national sport of Saudi Arabia. Chinese is table tennis followed by basketball.

I was in Valencia in November, some two weeks after the floods, and it was still beautiful, and unexpectedly hot. Happy to hear that you overcame so many challenges and made it to the final. I guess you lost the final since you didn't comment anything on the result. I hope you are well now and I wish you win 035 World Cup.
Now share your inside info. I know you have it. Who are we buying?

Nah results wise, nothing much to write home about, it was all about getting my first taste of international tournament experience.

I still maintain that we won't sign a top striker till we resolve the Vlahovic issue which I said would drag on for quite some time, even then I don't think Osimhen will come.
Zhegrova is the back up idea to Chico/Sancho, there was some rumour of Yilmaz on the shortlist too.
We will sign a pure defensive/physical midfielder of some kind to allow Thuram to flourish, I suspect this will be a somewhat cheap signing rather than going big on Florentino Luis of Benfica, especially as we still need to shift Luiz and Mckennie is on the market now.

Defence is a tough one, we need a left footed CB - Balerdi, not happening, Laporte fits the bill to a degree, Hancko again not going to happen unless we sell someone, problem is nobody is remotely serious about taking Kelly off our hands and he seemingly doesn't want to leave either.

I mean all things considered with population, football is still quite a big sport in China, they were serious about making the NT an Asian force again, but along with covid which effectively ended governement funding and companies which owned these Chinese clubs like Suning and Evergrande had to cut cost and first thing they did was effectively fold the club, and now these teams have been renamed completely the whole thing failed.

I think we are counting a lot on the player’s will to join us but we better not wait too long and then watch the deal being hijacked at the last minute… ultimately i hardly imagine PSG being open to doing us any favors, less so if a better offer arrives from elsewhere.

Sounds too good to be true lol

I mean he barely played for us in half a season and we are about to make almost a 50% profit on him? It’s a no brainer… although i’m a bit worried about what kind of replacements we will find for the right side because we’ll then need another two if both him and Weah are leaving.
Wait....we paid over 10 million for my Alberto??
