Vidal was a star in the Bundesliga that would have signed with Bayern if Leverkusen didn't refuse to sell him there.

Like he was really really really good. Maybe not a household name yet, but was about to be.

He was not some average talent developed at Juve out of nowhere. Signing him was like signing a player like Dybala.
I know he was a decent talent at Leverkusen, and since Rudi Völler didn’t want to sell him to Bayern, he ended up at Juve. But I remember that year, a lot of Juve fans actually rated Inler higher than Vidal. He wasn’t a star by any means—just a promising talent with good potential, the right age, a fair price tag, and some solid interest from other clubs. But it’s not like he was some guaranteed world-beater.

In my opinion, Vidal joined Juve at the perfect time. Under Conte, in the right system and environment, he became a star and one of the best midfielders in Europe. Had he arrived a year earlier, under Delneri during that chaotic, toxic phase, he might’ve flopped.

and what happened with Vidal at Juve back then also happened with plenty of others—Pogba, Lichtsteiner, Marchisio, Bonucci, Barzagli... they all managed to become the best version of themselves. That Juve was a winning team, with the right mentality and the right coach. Now It’s the complete opposite. Almost no one at Juve is playing at their peak. If anything, players come here and decline.

That’s really the point I’m trying to make—coaching, club atmosphere, and the overall context matter a lot. Look at Koopmeiners, Douglas Luiz, and others we're trashing right now. If we’re being honest, most of them were in a better place at their previous clubs than Vidal was at Leverkusen and Big teams were after them too.

The reason they’ve turned into dead weight at Juve isn’t just about their individual quality—it’s deeper than that. Until Juve fixes its underlying issues, no amount of transfers will change anything. Just like what’s been happening at United. Since 2020, we’ve basically rebuilt the entire squad twice, and we’re still going in circles.

Can someone explain to me why is it so important to have plusvalenza?

I understand the mechanics behind it, but I don't understand why is it important to have plusvalenza on deals.

Because when you draw the line on a long enough period, you still end up losing money even if you get plusvalenza on some deals.
Sometimes we even lose more money just chasing plusvalenza (Arthur comes to mind).

So why do we(and Serie A clubs) chase plusvalenza so badly while other clubs don't really care?
Because we are retarded. As simple as that.

His salary is a big problem.
Not just that.
I`ll tell you a secret. While I did rate KDB as its impossible not rate someone who is basically an assist machine, I was one of those who despite everything wasnt such a big fan of his.
Now I heard he is injury prone, old, out of form... Yeah I dont care about his salary - I just dont want him here.
I think we need 2 killers as AM - Neither Yildiz or Conceicao are killers but they have the potential.
My only wonder is if Conceicao can adjust to a more central role.

Juve make bad deals it’s true. But simple reason you need plusvalenza is juve is a business but for us fans it’s a hobby. And business need to prove profit with accounting standards (hence plusvalenza) to continue operating with governing standards. Otherwise you get kicked out of competitions at worts or points deductions at best.

And all clubs care about plus valenza . The ones that don’t as much have stronger profit margins due to sponsorships than juve

Exactly. Most Juve fans are retarded.

Don't you read posts on here?

He was much more than a "decent talent." Again, it would be like saying Dybala was a "decent talent." Stardom was on the way for Vidal.

if anyone saw kdb giving an interview in the last year or so, they should know that he checked out mentally. he's still a great passer and will provide occasional magic even in his 40s but it's not a pirlo situation. pirlo was motivated as he felt betrayed and left behind by milan. de bruyne simply gave up on himself and probably continues because he still gets a fat paycheck

i'm 99% with those who are against his signing. that 1% is pure curiosity: i want to see the posts of those who want him around mid september

Fuck KDB. Tht ugly ginger should go to Saudi or any club willing to give him a big fat paycheck.

He has won everything at club level, and he doesn't seem motivated to do more.

Maybe he should just retire.
