even at next gen the only legit RWB I see is Turco but he’s injured. Deme played there in that friendly vs the first team, maybe he becomes an option as he’s off to a great start this season.
Any mids from next gen?

Midfield wasn't good last season so we sell useless douglas luiz and buy nobody... makes sense:haha:

Owusu is decent, always liked him. He’s physically ready for serie A.

Faticanti is a poor man’s Locatelli.

Macca is technically the most gifted but is undersized and inconsistent.

Ngana and Crapisto are intriguing talents promoted from primavera, but I doubt either one is ready for serie A.

I think midfield is fine. Thuram is a clear starter so his backup isnt gonna play much. mckennie is ok for that role, and it could even allow him to help cover RWB.

Koop should push Locatelli, if not replace him. Hes looked way more active this season, and i dont think its a coincidence theyve played better with him on the field.

Miretti and Adzic are good technical talents, and both are intriguing in a more central role. Miretti had one of his better performances in a juve shirt playing regista and his finishing is less of an issue in that role. Adzic played in a double pivot last season at next gen after they switched formations with Tudors hiring, and he looked very good (although its always been obvious hes too good for serie C)

I am relatively pleased at the moment given how things were looking on Friday. At that point it looked like we were stuck with Nico and Zhegrova and Muani were not going to happen in light of Vlahovic not budging.

To be honest, I like the look of our forward line at the moment. I also love the fact that Muani is a dry loan to Tottenham. This still means he is very much in play next summer if we let Vlahovic go. Conceicao, Zhegrova, Yildiz, Openda, David, Vlahovic. Vlahovic is the only player in that 6 who can only play in 1 position. So very versatile in the front 3 there.

On midfield, the hope is that Koopmeiners has a renaissance in a deeper position. In defence, the hope is that Bremer brings back that solidity we need. Outside of hope, I still think our defence is not at the same level as many of key competitors in Italy and I think they will certainly struggle against Europe's best.

Why? They’re loaning out the asset while making money and will try to sell him again next summer. They already said they won’t sell him at a loss and we tried to buy him all summer and didn’t end up with them so we look like idiots.
Dry loaning him for 5m doesn't cut it. He is costing them EU19m a year in amortization (They paid 95m for him). Last season, PSG also partially subsidized his wage to us - I suspect Tottenham might be paying his full wage this year but this is also not disclosed.

In the end we will never know the details. 57m is his current book value and he would be worth 38m in a year's time in terms of book value. Hence a 5m + 40m-50m deal would have worked out well for PSG rather than doing another dry loan unless for whatever reason he becomes the league top scorer of course.

I also think the CM is fine.

The tactic is to have the wingbacks push up and double up with the winger to pin back the opposition defence and mid while still keeping a back 3.

They'll be stretched but also have to keep an eye on our CMs. Thuram's running and Locatelli's passing will pose a threat also. McKennie and Koopmeiners are like-for-like subs for those two as well. Adzic and Miretti are throwaways but will do as subs during injury season.

CM did need attention but only in the sense that we had to sell one of Luiz and Koop. We did that.
