...they don’t lose much if anything by loaning him...
they bought randy for 95m. didn't check the length of his contract but let's suppose they signed a standard 5-year contract. that means a yearly amortization of 19m. 5m barely covers anything.

we would have payed more if the news are right. i don't think they can be too happy with their decision to abandon the talks with jj :boh:

, 1 September 2025 – Juventus Football Club S.p.A. announces that an agreement with Club Atlético de
Madrid for the temporary disposal, until 30 June 2026, of the registration rights of the player Nicolás Iván González
has been reached for a consideration of € 1 million. This amount may be increased, during the term of the player’s
employment contract, by up to € 1 million upon the achievement of specific sporting objectives.
The agreement further entails the obligation for Atlético de Madrid to acquire the player’s registration rights on a
permanent basis upon the occurrence of certain conditions during the 2025/2026 football season. The agreed fee
for the potential definitive disposal is € 32 million, payable over three financial years.

They don’t need the money so badly so they’re banking on him having another successful loan spell to raise his value. This position is always in high demand so if I, like PSG, didn’t need the money I might’ve done the same thing.
Oil state clubs are cancer.

He what is the deal with the Champions League squad. Yildiz I think can still be on the B list. Based on my rough estimates, we may not need to cut anyone from the Champinos league squad right? Has anyone looked into that? I am not really on top of the rules.

Is he good. He played in 13 games for Bayern in the bundesliga las season but only managed to average 45minutes in those games. It may well be that Bayern are open to loaning him out.
I remember him balling out at Gala, that wasn’t that long ago. He’s had a lot of injuries at Bayern. If it’s a loan that’s not that much of an issue.

and you know the difference between "they don’t lose much if anything" and "they don't need the money" very well. they are losing but they don't necessarily care.

and if they do, that's because ffp/sustainability. they had an ffp case a few years ago, i'm sure there's a settlement too, so they might have the same restrictions as jj (60m loss over 3 seasons, wage bill below 70% of all revenue, ...) but the restrictions might kick in later because of the post covid ffp rules

absolutely agreed on the last sentence

Perhaps I didn’t use the right phrasing. What I meant was that they can take the pain now in hope of a bigger future gain, but we can’t. But yeah fuck them. Any second wasted on discussing the internal affairs of oil clubs is wasted.
Exception is 5-0 CL final of course.
