I seriously hope we don't splash €60m on Kolo, 100% not worth it. We are in dire need of a LCB, just take that money and put it down on Hincapie - it's obviously not happening, but anyway.
I just hope we don't make any stupid decision in the last 5 days of mercato. Just keep the squad as is and figure it out next summer. Seeing how overstacked PL squads are, there will for sure be very good buying opportunities next year. We won't achieve much with Tudor, no matter the squad, anyway.

Robee's paradox also states we shouldn't take competitions like the club world cup seriously, a tournament which actually makes us money and helps bring in extra funds.

There is a lot negativity here and I totally get it. However the 2 new players we did get have so far been quite encouraging - David and Joao Mario.
Our finances and new management are trying to clean up part of the mess from previous transfer windows which heavily restricts us from making big signings although some of the sell prices are below expectations but I’m many cases these are players that are not that well sought after where in many cases had underwhelming seasons.
I will reserve final judgment on September 1.

Yeah, im positive (as always probably), because:
- we probably cant be so unlucky with defence injuries two year in a row,
- Koop is showing glimpses of good form, i know that "he is like a new transfer" is a joke here, but he really might be one if he can regain form,
- David look like someone who could make our attacking game click,
- Joao Mario looks like a new Cuadrado, a right sided player who can create chances by his wise decision, lets see if he can keep it up,
- IF we add Zhegrova and Kolo we would have very good depth in attack, especially, since with the selection of midfielders we have, we could easily change from 3421 to 352 in game (once Kolo joins),
- the biggest positive for me so far though, is the mentality of the team ,that probably Tudor was able to implement, we are going forward and there is drive to fight from the team. Hopefully we keep it up

I see the yelling without reasoning trend continues. Didn't expect anything else 'tho.
A bad youngster is still a bad player. That goes for Savona. I did not agree on the Mbangula price 'tho but you obviously ignored that part as always because in your mind there's no in between; someone is either for every move or against every move and the latter is right, lol.
I'd say its perfectly natural and normal for any fan base of a club this big to feel some negativity, especially considering our history of transfers and how there is so much to fix with little time. Issue here is the uncertainty, we dont know what is going on in the background. There's just not enough excitement being generated. Recycled bullshit news and recycling the same rejects is underwhelming. We partly understand the strategy, or atleast some do.
We know players need to leave and that's the priority, however so is strengthening. We have no clue on how to sell and how to buy, and it all feels like deja vu, all of this is mentally painful, exhausting and frustating, with the exception of how quiet it is. Ironically while we wait, atleast we know were not making things worse just yet. I think as humans we can all take something from this mercato, which is patience till the end, even if it means losing more hair.
