Next time I walk into a Ferrari show room I'll offer them £10 and tell them "don't be greedy"
25 mill buys you literally nobody in replacement of Locatelli
Reassure me, you're not comparing Locatelli to a Ferrari ? The closest thing to Locatelli is a Fiat Multipla.
We got Thuram for 25 million.

The problem isn't 25 million for Locatelli; the problem is that we bought this mediocre for too much.
If we had bought it for 15-20 million (his true value), and resold him for 25 million for his limited utility, no one would complain.

Thuram is a different case as he had 1 year left on his contract.

15-20 mill are you kidding me? this is not the early 2000s anymore

Is 25M really too much for Locatelli? after Thuram, he is the best midfielder in the team and one of the top 10 midfielders in Serie A. What else is he supposed to do? He’s a defensive midfielder, does he need 20 goals and 20 assists just to be considered good? The closest player to him is Hjumland from Sporting, who’s valued at 60M, and there’s no guarantee he’d even work out at Juve. You guys here rate the players way too harshly.

I dont care about Vlahovic going to Milan. Allegro will make him quit the sport completely in a couple of years so not too concerned.

But Im not sure about Napoli. Conte will look at him as the exact kind of profile to motivate him and get the best out of him. A once talented but now disgruntled and disinterested striker. Given that Napoli already have a solid foundation and a well oiled system, I can see him doing well there.

It's neither your job nor mine, but there are good players at 15-25 max, but you just need to have competent people capable of detecting them. (spoiler: Juve management doesn't have them)
you find me a good player who can replace Locatelli for 15 mill and I might agree, in a world where Zalewski barely even kicks a ball for inter and goes for more money.

Inda just made a CL final and compete for titles. Even their scrubs will have a higher market value naturally compared to JJ who are proud and happy to finish top 4 for the past half a decade and get humiliated in CL.

I know it's tuz, but the dude is getting too much hate. Not that he's a world beater, but still.
I was obviously exaggerating but I don't think 25m was a crazy offer either.

If he wasn't Italian and made captain of JJ noone would give a shit about him.

People still rate him just because of 2 goals he scored in Euro 2020.

or maybe, just maybe that is the going rate for players now in 2025 and some of us still living like it's 2005.

I don't watch football much anymore (thanks JJ). Like I told you, it's not my job, but why don't we try a player like Dani Ceballos from Real Madrid? He shouldn't cost too much, he's always better than what we have.

Isn't he injured since December?
Not quite, he had surgery on his pulbia (whatever that groin area is called) to correct it, he's due to be back in training this week if he hasn't already done so. Prior to that his injuries are somewhat limited.

Look, you're a lovely guy but I rest my case.
