Lets not kid anyone, Arthur or Ramsey won't be sold this summer.

Best we can hope for with Ramsey is a modest golden handshake, but realistically we might have to pay at least a half his yearly salary to get rid of him. After what he's shown on Juve and Eintracht on his next contract that dude isn't going to get much, not dealing with this last summer was a disaster imo, we could've saved a lot more then.

Arthur might be possible to move on a long loan deal with reasonable conditions to make it an obligation to buy, I don't think we're going to sell him outright, would be a huge loss on the books.
Ramsey going for money to terminate his contract rumors are we agreed paying him 4m to go.
Arthur we gotta pray.
Rabiot last year of contract either we sell or lose next summer

Paredes would be a pointless transfer. I see him as another version of Arthur, we’d just put him as a regista and watch him pass sideways and backwards for the whole season then struggle to offload him.

buy quality or don’t buy at all, we already have quantity and it’s better to give Rovella/Fagioli/Miretti a chance than this relic

I am trying hard to understand this interest in Paredes. I remember him being quite progressive in his passing when I watched him at Roma. So that should add something we lack currently from midfield.

But with his overall cost and injury record it really does not make sense to replace one burden with another.

I just hope we keep Fagioli in any case. With Paredes and Pogba both injury prone, he could play a decent amount of games.

I understand maybe wanting Paredes for the regista role MAYBE but with our midfield being so stacked already how does selling midfield to buy midfield make sense?

In the two years Allegri wasn't here, we weren't linked to him. We were heavily linked to him before he went to PSG too. Allegri returns and the links pop up again.

To say Allegri doesn't have anything to do with it is pure ignorance. This is the same guy that went on a rant last season about wanting more experienced players and that our younger players don't have the maturity that he expects.

Absolute pointless transfer. Let me guess, Fagioli is not tall enough to play in this midfield?

All I'm gonna say is that Paredes like signings led us here.
With players that we wanna get rid but can't. Arthur,Rabiot and Ramsey
Do we really want to get Paredes just to be stuck with him for the next 4-5years on 7m wages???
We'll just manage to get rid of Rabiot and Ramsey for sure max next summer do we really wanna double down on past mistakes?
Stop getting cheap deals just to do so.
Better keep the shit we have and as soon as we can buy good players.

I'm not a fan of Paredes and I don't really want him here. But he's definitely a better player than those two

Im not sure at all he is any better then Rabiot, who is more dynamic two play mid. But he is a slight upgrade on Arthur, who has similar qualities as Paredes, but Paredes is more of a playmaker in traditional sense.

Signing would he pointless, and I dont want any of them really, but Arthur is least useful of all of them.

I agree.

I think you can see some similarities to the Barca current situation. Instead of relying on young players who might not be perfect but are suitable teams try to fill gaps in the roster with players who they THINK fit their scheme. Somebody in management (Paratici) thought Rabiot would fit our scheme, somebody thought Ramsey (an attacking mid and not a traditional mid in any sense with a massive injury history) would fit our system.

These buys are very much panic buys.

The amount of wages coming off our books soon is astounding and we need to NOT ruin that financial recovery with these types of panic buys that really only fit a single role and in a vacuum. Paredes isn't starting material on a serious CL contender going forward. So if our goals are to get to that point, we should not move for him now except on a 1-2 year contract as a stopgap.

I do feel excited for the wages we are clearing very soon. I worry we will panic buy and fuck it up. Ramsey, Sandro, Cuadrado, Rabiot, are all gone end of this season. That is like 30% of our entire wage bill. If we can ride it out until then and get younger options on lower, sustainable wages, this would be a really nice turn around for us. Look at all the youth in our squad.

Talks between Juventus and PSG for Leandro Paredes going. Player changed representatives few weeks ago and is not against idea of joining Juve, but first, Juve must sell someone. PSG asks for €20M. @GoalFrance
