Why not - He can produce numbers and he is on relatively low wages. Unless you think the change from Sassuolo style to our style would make him disfunctional

To be honest - My fear about Berardi is that he didnt have much success with Italy - never really 1st choice and hasnt done anything special there.
With Sassuolo who play an attacking brand of football he is doing well but Juve isnt really that attacking minded... Put that aside and he is a great player.

Really fuck Berardi, we need game changers on the wings and not stat padders. There are wingers like him and winger like Di Maria or Douglas Costa who create massive amount of chances for his partners. Berardi relies on good left foot shoot, at Juve he will get exposed massively by the defenders. This is really similar case to Berna IMO. U will see that when Berna leaves and joins some shit Club - he will reach the stats of Berardi IMO, but it means nothing if they can only do it in small pond.

My fear is that maybe he could be a small club star that doesn’t really reach the bigger expectations you get on a higher caliber club. It’s not like he played world class football at any stage of his career, club or international.
Di Maria on the other hand has proven his talent at the highest of levels. Sure he’s older now but for a temporary solution it’s a no brainer for me.
Berardi is similar to Dybala in the sense that although he is able to put a decent through ball every now&then and rack up some assists throughout a season, he's first and foremost a goal scorer who feels most comfortable getting the ball around the box and creating a shot for himself.
di Maria is almost retired, but the man at least guarantees a couple of good balls to Vlahovic per game.
