for summer if we get brozovic on a free and a winger it would be a great market. it would fix midfield depth and quality and a winger is a must.

What a ditz. We need an attacking CM (someone who can provide penetration, assists, goals) then CBs, a LB and probably a 2nd choice striker.

    Brozovic :howler:

brozovic is free and would allow us to play possession football.

zakaria is a squad option not a starter. same with arthur. brozovic would start for juve, you would know this if you watched other teams play

and which one of the folks you mentioned can be the midfield option that contributes to breaking down the final 3rd? i'm waiting?

You know, as in adding in a crucial element we have lacked this season.

But no no no I'm sorry, Lion. no, you're right I totes want to watch a season of brozovic, zakaria and Rabito passing the ball to each other safely.

IMO 15-16 yo is too young to determine whether anyone will be a RM or Juve level player or not.

Robinho was Pele's heir at 15, Pellegri went to Monaco for 21m aged 16 (has to be some sort of record in Italy), Odegaard was a top top talent at around the same age and is nowhere near top talent at 23, our very own Moist Kean, etc. You're right that RM are often the ones who like to make these signings, but it rarely pans out for them, their best purchases out of South America are a bit older players like Marcelo and Casemiro

Jorginho currently has one-and-a-half years left on his deal with it set to expire in June 2023. This is a totally realistic option and we might be able to get him for cheaper without overspending. Plus Chelsea wouldn't lose money by letting him go for free.

As for the B2B/Mezzala role, Kessie seems like he is exploring his options but I'm not fully convinced on his form. Seems like it's on and off. Not the best technique, but he is physical, can score goals and can press higher.
