Novel idea, how about we keep De Ligt and Dybala, our best defender and attacker, and just add more quality to the team?

As Dai said, we can add any of those options to the team besides SMS, without even for a second thinking we need to sacrifice two of our best players.

If De Ligt is leaving, tell fatso it's 100 million or he can fuck himself. Use the money for Sergej and a good left back. Get Romagnoli for free and bring in Gatti.

That's the way we function we weaken one department strengthen the other department. In this case we will sell de ligt to sign Bremer, SMS and also we have to pay transfer fees for the permanent transfer of Chiesa maybe Morata.

We will sell de Ligt if we cant afford to sign new contract with him. He will have only 2 years left in the summer, so if he refuses to sign then it's the best moment to sell. Would love him to stay but let's be real here, Juve will probably not be able to improve his current salary.

Sacrificing De Ligt for SMS would be similar to Pogba-Higuain deal.

Won't be worth it in the long run and I don't think SMS is a world beater either even though I'd love him here.

De ligt still comes under the growth decree so we can still offer him higher wages but then again there are other defenders like Fiorentina Milkenovic Torino Bremer which could easily replace him.

De Ligt also needs to get a reality check if he thinks this club is not up to his standard. He has not massively improved since joining from Ajax , and has not been anything outstanding since he joined. He got huge potential , but so far we are basically paying for the potential and not his current level.

I hope he stays and improves, but in no way should he feel to good for this team.

Okay for some reason I thought SMS was 28. Okay but still I am not sure swapping De Ligt for him is the best idea given that Lotito would demand crazy sums. And I don't think he'll sell him to us either.

How many would say yes to mdl and dybala leaving for romagnoli, sms, jorginho and raspadori
I don't think we'd suffer much if we lose de Ligt at this point. However, I'm pretty certain he'll be one of the best CBs in the world in the upcoming years. His wages are already high, though, and I'm not sure we'll be able to renew his contract. If we're of aware of it we should try to milk some club before we lose him for free (what can happen with Dybala).

With a new winger (I think Dybala can leave us soon), Sergej and Jorginho I think we'd easily chase CL title.

We should hold onto our best players with both hands. Players like De Ligt, Dybala, Chiesa, Locatelli and now Vlahovic we should be doing everything to make these guys the core of the team.

Most of them are young now but maybe a year or two from now, plus a few additions, we could have a team actually capable of competing in europe

as for letting de ligt go, i'm not a fan of the idea, but it's like trying to keep pogba back in the days. if he wants to leave, he will. and honestly, he's the most expensive player of the league, while inda have 3 defenders at his level, at a much lower yearly cost.

genuine question, could you name some world beater midfielders? i couldn't name a lot that i'd sign over sms. de bruyne, pedri certainly, barella, rodri, gavi maybe. and that's all. :boh: sergej is easily a top10 midfielder in my book. if he's available we should certainly sign him.

oh yeah, i agree with the lotito part. that's what i've been saying for years, he'd rather shoot sergej than sell to agnelli. any sms talk is purely theoretical.

Imo out of that bunch, SMS is the only player worth sacrificing other players for. The rest is either meh and/or should be possible to get without letting anyone go.
A midfield of

--------jorginho------
------loca------sms--

Is world class imo we get to upgrade every dept in our midfield instantly. And i believe playing wingers with a lone striker is more viable than dybala at SS or treq.

dybala can't play the role he played against Verona?? He looked pretty good to me.

With De Ligt, we ( :fab3: ) sorta fucked ourselves by making him such a big earner immediately. It's going to always be hard to renew him, unless he is ok with his wages remaining the same. Maybe he wouldn't have come here if we didn't offer him so much, but then that only means we never could've really afforded him to begin with.
