This is what I was saying. With De Ligt sale you could easily get SMS + Rudiger, Bremer e.t.c

We didn't. Zakaria is not a player to play in front of the defense for us. He won't play regista. Brozovic or Jorginho are.

Its either SMS or Zaniolo I reckon. With Dybala gone this means we can field a 433 again, so we'd need a new winger and then SMS to complete the midfield trio (this is something we cant do with Dybala here as it would mean having to play with a double pivot in midfield as he plays CAM). Alternatively we sell dybala and maintain a 4231 formation with Zaniolo in his place, but again it would mean that we play with a double pivot, and I'm not sure we'd need SMS for that. We could do 4312 but you'd need to sacrifice the wingers

I'd take SMS in a 3 man midfield over Zaniolo as CAM any day

Imo out of that bunch, SMS is the only player worth sacrificing other players for. The rest is either meh and/or should be possible to get without letting anyone go.

selling de ligt is a huge huge mistake.

guys is a top defender and only 22. imagine how good he will continute to become as he gets older.

i'm not convinced by demiral or alternatives.
