Hateboer played at CB couple times this season, no? It was a 3 man backline though
I’m sure he played there in the youth at Groningen, but he should be considered as a right (wing)back.

He makes more sense then Gosens, I rather sell Danilo and have Hateboer as backup.

Hateboer is, like Gosens, very comparable with Lichtsteiner. No technical wonders, but they have grinta and stamina. Unlike Cuadrado, Hateboer attacks the box and causes problems for the opponent there. Cuadrado naturally stays more on the wing.

Sandro, Pellegrini, Cuadrado and Hateboer is far from worldclass. Those Evra, Sandro, Lichtsteiner and Alves times are far away.

If we successfully dispose of Costa and Berna we can use Cuad as a backup RW and get a starting caliber RB (I highly rate Haetboer), another solution is shifting Danilo to a backup LB role since we can't sell him this summer. In all cases w need a starting RB and a backup on the left unless we sell Sandro.
I was thinking the same with cuadrado. He could be used as our backup rw, or even as an attacking rb or rwb. Danilo should honestly be sold. We keep Alex Sandro at lb, use Pellegrini as his back up. And we just get a start rb

Yeah if we can sell Danilo I am all for it but good luck securing a 30m+ offer for him (his book value). I see a potential Khedira/Higuain situation with Danilo for 2 seasons at least.

we have no money says :gdm:
Most clubs should operate under that premise whether the cupboard is truly bare or not.

What may be interesting to monitor is Traditonal terrestrial media networks may look to renegotiate lower rates for media rights. that would open the door for unorthodox bidders from the likes FANGD which would prove quite exciting. Potentially more $$ for leagues in the long run. If the league is weighted share, or top down for revenue distribution then Juve could see a significant annual line item addition to their income statement. More money never hurts.
