De Paul is overall more naturally attacking playmaking player too, since he started off as a nr 10/hybrid winger type and became more CM later, so dont be surprised if such a player has more attacking stats completion. Another thing...Someone compared him to Khedira for Juve, which was really weird to read.

That was me. Khedira was the only mid during his juve years that came forward and scored goals. De Paul would do the same. The other ones like Bentancur, Arthur an Rabiot are not.. A player that comes from midfield and help scoring. That is what De Paul would bring , just like Khedira did and even better. De Paul is box to box, he is not the greatest defensive mid, but he helps.On top of that we have Bentancur , Rabiot and do not underestimate Arthur. He is far from an attacking midfielder.

True, because people still have 17/18 season highlight when SMS is beast with his goals in their mind
That memory makes people think SMS is way better than De Paul

But I will take De Paul for 35M every day of the week than SMS for 80M (not to count his salary)
But if SMS are available for around 40-50M, SMS worth the gamble. especially if we can reduce the cash $$ with some player exch (Rugani or Berna)

SMS's role isn't to create goals though. He is a pure center midfielder. De Paul often plays higher up the pitch or on the wings, so of course he's going to have more goal contributions than SMS. By your logic De Paul is a better player than Pirlo or Marchisio ever were because he scores more goals.
Stats are often misleading, especially for midfielders.
SMS is taller, stronger, better at passing, breaking up play, distribution etc. Which quality of De Paul is superior to SMS?

RDP is way better than the Udinese level and is a nice pick for a title chasing team, if he is the one that we buy I am sure that if he stays healthy come season end he will be the midfielder with the most goals and assist in the team, although his competition doesn't really score and/or assists that much nowadays...

And also, it's Udinese ffs, if they rate him 35-40m then I am sure we can include some player(s) in the deal and significantly lower the price...

RDP is a better dribbler than SMS.
SMS is not a better passer. RDP plays more key passes, creates more chances, and has more assists.
SMS is marginally better at interceptions, but RDP makes more tackles.

You think that De Paul is only an attacking midfielder, but he plays as box-to-box midfielder for Argentina and he is excellent in that role.

De Paul is a very solid and stable midfielder and these days we don't have even that.
As a starter he is a little bit underwhelming for the club of our size but as a guy to push Benta for a 3rd CM / first option from bench would be decent.

I don't pay attention to stats unless you're a goalkeeper or an attacker. Football is a game of intangibles, and looking at the two of them play, there is no comparison.

    De Paul is excellent all over the field. I think he might even be able to play Matuidi's position and give us the benefit of someone who can still combine with Ronaldo.

    on De Paul Mombly said maybe a deal is possible because of Mandragora situation. Romeo wasn't sure on that deal yet.
    Locatelli was a name mentioned again.
    Beppe's old role is done by AA and we will look to help AA and have a director back. Beppe was mentioned.
    I think it could be Carnevali of Sass. We met him a couple of weeks ago. Could be for him or a player.
    ManUtd want less than 100m for PP.
    DC git offers and will leave.
