Giroud  :howler:

- - - Updated - - -

Another massive douchecunt (he's French, so no surprises there) who thinks he's some amazing WC striker.
How is it possible you think every friggin player you dont want Juve to sign is a massive douche? Just say he isnt good enough and leave it at that. The empty vitriol just makes you look silly when it has no basis in reality lol.

Ofcourse Giroud is not coming. We and other top clubs (even lazio) didnt want him when his contract was expiring and wouldn't cost shit, but now he renewed contract with Chelsea, way less likely.

Barca push Arthur towards Juventus
By Football Italia staff

Spanish newspaper AS insists Barcelona are still trying to push Arthur Melo into accepting a swap deal with Juventus midfielder Miralem Pjanic.
The Brazilian has stated repeatedly that he has no intention of leaving Camp Nou, which has thrown a rather large spanner in the works for his club.
He cost €31m from Gremio in the summer of 2018 and has not delivered on the early promise, as the Blaugrana consider him too inconsistent.
Although the 23-year-old has made it clear he does not want to quit Barcelona, the report in AS maintains the club is still trying to push him towards the exit.
They want Pjanic and Maurizio Sarri is eager to get the best out of Arthur in Turin, but the player’s stubbornness is the only thing holding up the deal.
Arthur made 23 competitive appearances so far this season, contributing four goals and four assists.
However, he had some ankle and hip injury concerns in recent months and dropped down the pecking order.
His contract with Barcelona runs to June 2024.

What would be even worse is if Lazio accepts.

We were never going to get sms, might as well go to PSG where he will be alright at best, and if they refuse good chance it will unsettle the player, either way we get an edge over nazio
60 million just seems to be well below his market value though, especially with the year he is having and his age. At the end of the day it's their decision, and their loss. It just looks bad that one of Serie A's best talents would go for relatively cheap

I don't think anyone can sit there and proclaim that Serie A is on the rise again, and then see something like that happen.

This is a post corona world where entertainment is just not a top priority right now as far as consumer spending, so forecast for recovery is unknown at this point. If pool refuses to pay 50 mil for a hot commodity striker that should tell you all.

If all Chelsea players were free apart for Kante I am still unsure if there is a single player I`d like us to sign..
Willian was great a few years ago but now.. Pass...
Pedro - maybe 5 years ago (maybe..)
Kovacic - Well I wouldnt mind him as rotation but I wouldnt want him as a starter (even though in our midfield he`ll be our 2nd or 3rd best immediately)

Another rumor from France talking of an exchange between Juve and PSG. This time Verratti or Marquinhos for Pjanic. The latter is a fresh name, what would you say? I don't watch PSG but I know he's become super versatile there. Can play fb, cb, dm, cm.

How well does he play there? Just lateral passes and wins balls?

Totally possible that Lazio make a strategic move like that to keep SMS out of the hands of league rivals.

Can't blame Arthur for not wanting to move. Especially knowing what to expect if he arrives here
