Holy shit people

Kulusevski and Arthur already bagged. Could have Romero and Pellegrini stay as well.

Rumors strong on Thomas Partey, a very solid DM that has been groomed by a no-nonsense ruthless coach we should be happy to have that kind of attitude in midfield after what we have seen.

Rumors we made an offer for Dest, strong rumors of Gosens, and maybe another local
CM like Locatelli and a Hail Mary on Zaniolo.

2 months ago if you would have said we could have two new LBs, a RB, 2-3 new CMs and another 1-2 attackers id have laughed.

sold Matuidi already, Higuain, Bernie and Sami all know they won’t wear our jersey again.

What the fuck people.

All for the low low price of selling Dybala

Partey would be an excellent addition to our midfield. Steel, grinta and good on the ball.

Gosens would be a good signing, but we need to be careful about Atalanta players. They tend to do better in the system that Gasperini has carefully cultivated over the past four years. Wouldn’t say no to the signing tho.

The only one of those names that we can realistically get that I would be excited about is Partey.

We already knew about Kulusevski and Arthur.

If we sell Dybala, fuck all those deals. We go into the season with an older Ronaldo and who else? A 37 year old Dzeko, or an unmotivated fat fuck? What if Turdeski is still here? Again, all those are great deals, if they don't come at the cost of a great sacrifice. If you sacrifice, arguably, your most important player, to make all those deals happens, then it's all for shit.

Dzeko is 34. If you're gonna rage, at least do it right

But I don't want Dzeko here anyway. At that point, you might as well keep Higuain. At least he's almost 2 years younger

I just find it almost impossible to believe that Atletico would even consider a Bernardeschi/Partey swap. Simeone is many things, but stupid ain't one of them.

According to this, Dzeko makes 9.2 million gross per year

Sorry Bro. Old geezer regardless :p

I don't mind Dzeko, for a year or two. I just want us to keep building for the future, and building right, without huge sacrifices. Agnelli talks about building the brand, but then considers selling his second most marketable asset? Like seriously, wtf. It's like saying, I don't mind having my arms chopped off, or Pepsi saying "fuck it. let's remove Mountain Dew or 7UP from our product line."

The athleticism is there, the ability looked like it was there. If someone could get Bernardeschi's head screwed on straight he might be salvageable and Simeone might be the man to do it.

Although in Bernardeschi's case, it may require the removal and replacement of the entire brain.

Is that worth trading a sure thing such as Partey for a what if in Bernardeschi? I wouldn't do it if I were Simeone

See, i do mind, because it leaves me baffled as to what direction we are trying to go in here. Dzeko certainly doesn't help our CL chances, and if it means keeping our top spot in Serie A for another year, who cares? We are going to be in the position we are in now, this time next year, but with his contract.

Band aids. that's what this whole Gosens/Dzeko/ De Paul sound like to me. After such a promising outlook with Kulusevski and Arthur. These names just disappoint me.

You guys gotta be realistic though. We aren't going to sign the Pogba's of the world during this COVID fiasco. Everything is jacked up. Best case scenarios we shop locally and improve gradually unless some super star falls into our lap from some freak market opportunity. Ain't gonna happen.

We were lucky with Arthur because Barca are being screwed with high salaries and Kulu looks to be a great market buy. The De Pauls, Locatelli's, Gosens are still improvements over the Sami's, Rabiot and Matuidi's.

Nearly every single name (bar Dzeko) is going to lower the average age of our squad. So, that box is checked. Nearly every singe name would improve our lineup but because they aren't some superstar name you guys are bummed. It's still an improvement.

Gosens > Danilo & MDS
De Paul > Matuidi
Kulu > Bernie & Costa (combined)
Arthur > Sami
Partey > Bentancur, Matuidi, Rabiot, any of them

I don't see the issue?

We like Partey, no sconti from Simeone, but he likes Bernardeschi and Costa. He costs 40/50m.

If someone told me 3 months ago that Juve could end up with De Paul, Gosens, and Dzeko, and consider it a good mercato, I would have kicked them in the balls.

Then I would have driven to their house, and kicked their kids in the balls. And kicked the dog in the balls
What if they have daughters Bro? Can't kick them in the balls then, well, because those would be someone's daughters :p

Im.not asking for the Pogba's of the world. I never asked for that. What I DID ask for was to invest in players that in a couple of years, if not sooner, will far exceed the value of what we paid for them DePaul and Gosens are 30 million players in 2020. A massive difference from 30 million players in 2012. And they will still be 30 million players in 2020, 2021, 2022.

Pick your 4
CAM:
  • Isco
  • Aoaur
  • Zaniolo
  • DePaul
DM Destoyer:
  • Casemiro (i wish)
  • Tomas Partey :)
  • Tonali (not defensive enough imo),
  • Kante
  • Ndidi could be good option imo
  • Rabiot?: he was not that good going forward for us on the box2box left CM, but he physical and is decent passing.
  • Bentancur? i think hes better as box2box
  • Locatelli lol

RB:
  • Dest
  • Mukiele
  • Emerson
  • Cancelo back?
  • Castagne from atalanta

CF:
  • Zapata
  • Lacazette
  • Milik
  • Kean
  • Pinamonti
  • Dzeko

Evaluating these market right now and the opportunities that may arise i would pick these 4:
Partey, Lacazette, Dest and Zaniolo
I agree with the 4 you chose.

Worst Case Scenario: Sacrifice Dybala for Isco, Locatelli, Plumberson Failieri, and Pinamonti.

Consequences? Once Covid is over, I fly to Italy, take a shit on Tici's desk and punch Blonde Bozo in the face.

Oh wow. You had to mention that fucking jackass, didn't you
Lion amuses me. He can be a total dick, but he's a harmless Lion. I mean, he loves Scar, so he's probably a conniving coward :D

Serge, give me your ideal (realistic) mercato.

I'll give you mine - Zaniolo, Partey, Locatelli, Dest, and Lacazette coming in.

Can we meet Partey's salary demands however? I think he wants 10 million (could be gross, not sure) :boh:

We have a chance to "scout" him in 18 hours when Atletico take on Leipzig.

- - - Updated - - -

Bentacur-Partey-Arthur // Doesn't look bad at all , Rabiot as sub and maybe add Locatelli that would be good !
Not quite MVPP, but it's better than what we currently have to work with. Beggars can't be choosers I suppose.
