If we keep Costa I wouldn’t buy Torres. With Kulu and Costa there won’t be much playing time for him, It would be better to aim for Boga and leave him another year at Sassuolo.

Not that I want be happy.. but seems more logical to me.
Tbh i'd still sell Costa, just can't sustain consistent fitness

Wait....
So some actually like the idea of Milik?
Are there any other real alternatives?

Bentan-Arthur-SMS is a fucking quality midfield.

Im willing to give up on Pogba if we sign SMS
Pogba is better but SMS is my second choice and might even suit us better..

Juventus & Napoli could eventually find an agreement for the Milik-Bernardeschi exchange. [Sky]

Agreement between Milik-Juventus. The Bianconeri are offering Rugani as part of a deal to Napoli, who wants Bernardeschi instead. According to Polish press
I might dont like it but Berna is useless for us while its obvious we want Milik...
The only worry for me is that it will probably be a cash+Berna for Milik rather than a straight swap which is something I dont like.

I don’t believe it will be cash + Berna.
We’re in a good position. We don’t need any plusvalenza yet, Milik wants to come and if Napoli doesn’t agree we can offer him a contact in january. Besides that they need to replace Callejon, won’t play CL next year and they’ll feel the effects of covid. They should be happy if we agree a straight swap imo.

De Laurentis is inbetween confused and a greedy moron, when it comes to negotiations. He paid 45M for Milik the player isn't indispensable, has one year left on his contract, had 2 ACL injuries - and is still valued at 45M. Why not simply get the Lille youngster here, leave ADL with Milik for one year and see what happens?

His agent is dying to send him to Juve, with Sarri as former coach, let's be carreful.
It seems Chelsea also wants him out. I don't think Paratici will ever completely ignore a big mercato opportunity, but it's not a fear. It has to be a really good deal like a fringe player swap. I doubt Jorginho is a priority for him right now like TS suggests.

Three of Jorginho, benta, Arthur can't coexist in midfield, they're too similar. I don't see any Italian director or coach making this mistake. Plus with Ronaldo and Dybala, there's a greater need for a mezzala to attack the box. So, three of them have to rotate for two positions. And another CM has to make way. And for that, it can't be 40m or whatever Chelsea wants.

One could argue Mancini does exactly that. He plays a midfield of three, very similar in style players. The difference is he always has a true #9 at his disposal.

Barella goes B2B. He's the most defensive of the three but offers that mobility (and they play with two wingers). Ben10 would be closest to that, and that's not his best role.

Ben10-Jorginho-Arthur-Dybala-Ronaldo would be a lot of predictable side passing without any reference in front of low blocks. Easy to beat on the counter too.

Im not so sure it would be easy to beat on the counter for a few reasons.
1. We have become quite good at pressing.
2.That group could hold the ball high up the field like we currently do and keep possession well. That leads to numbers high up the field to press and draws their team really far back and leaves the forwards isolated. I like MDL and Bonuuci or demiral tpo boss a single forward around playing the ball long and trying to bypass the press.
3. KULU or costa or berna have a pretty decent work rate getting back in numbers. So I dont think we would get broken on to bad
