If we get de Ligt our mercato is already 10/10
I dont know.. I mean in terms of predicting - Yeah its a good mercato but It can be misleading...
We got the best reinforcement for CB (still hasnt but rumored to be getting) yet our mid still didnt get the reinforcement that was needed
Rabiot is very good and Ramsey is a very good team player but none can compare to the impact someone like Pogba would make in midfield...

Not quite. A 10/10 mercato would be getting De Ligt, Pogba, and Mbappe while getting rid of Khedira, Matuidi, Higuain, not buying Icunti, and keeping all our star players.

If we get both De Ligt and Ndombele, our mercato is definitely a solid 8.5 (borderline 9).

Getting De Ligt should exclude Pogba, but I don't think Ndombele is out of the question. His pricetag is 1/2 of Pogba's and he won't command anywhere near the astronomical wages that Dabpro would.

I don’t think it is really realistic to put Pogba and Mbappe in the equation.
I do too think midfield should need reinforcement, and Rabiot would not just cut it. Only one player is worth breaking the bank per summer transfer window when it comes to Juve, in this case I would prefer it is for de Ligt.
If we are able to get Ndombele as well, that would be great, but a Barella or Tonali for the future wouldn’t be bad as well. Ndombele would be reinforcement right away, but he would probably be too expensive

Would be nice to have ndombele+de Ligt instead of just pogba, I admit. But we will have to find new RB, goddmanit

Don Balón saying Napoli won’t get James because Perez raised his price due to James’ Copa performances. It suggests that Arsenal, Tottenham and Juventus are interested. I won’t hold my breath

De Ligt is a safe investment. He seems to have the papers to be a very good player and if he proves it here, his price will double. If he fails, we still should be able to offload him for an amount allowing us to minimize the losses. On top of that, we'll get the media attention connected to his transfer.

Not quite, a 10/10 would be De Ligt, Pogba, Mbappe, Ndombele, Messi, Kante, Trezeguet, Del Piero and a time machine for the latter 2.

There's no pleasing some people...

On a serious note; if we could really make deals for De Ligt & Rabiot with Demiral, Romero, Ramsey & Traoré done. We're set for a huge summer.

We need to offload Khedira, Mandzukic, Higuain, Cuadrado and probably Matuidi & Cancelo as well.
And if that pans out reasonably, we could be looking at another star signing in midfield or attack... While the hole at RB would need filling but I'd be ok with a semi-Jabroni if we can do the rest of it.

Don’t need to buy another Bernie (aka Chiesa). Plus he simply way too overvalued and overrated.

And we shouldn’t sell Mandy. Can’t that kind of leadership, presence, experience and heart for cheap these days.

Matthijs DeLigt is less than a step away from joining Juventus - Contract at €12m/yr + €150m termination clause to increase each year, €70m will go to Ajax, Deal to be closed soon. (Sky)
When it comes to bad news they are usually right.

Hopefully this time they are too.

On FI it’s a bit of different story. They say we’re working on finalizing the deal but PSG are interfering and instead they’re trying to convince De Ligt’s girlfriend by offering her “modelling contracts and preparing a palatial home in Paris”. Lol

Rabiot and Ramsey are an upgrade for sure, but compared to the other top clubs we are still behind, there's room to improve.
I'd be extremely happy if we get De Ligt, he's top top top priority
