Our transfer market will depend on who we get as a manager:

Pochettino will play a 4312 with maybe Eriksen/Isco type of player behind dybala ronaldo. Maybe a midfield with Ramsey, Pjanic, Ndombele/Rabiot as the mezzala and Can as destroyer DM.

Conte would play a 442 With dybala ronaldo upfront and Douglas Costa and Chiesa/Bernardeschi on the wings. Midfield 2 of Pjanic and Defensively minded Can for example or new signing like Rabiot/Ndombele.

Inzaghi would play a 352 with a defence with Chiellini Bonucci and Manolas with With dybala ronaldo upfront. Sandro and Cancelo wingbacks and midfield 3 with Maybe signing Milinkovic Savic, Pjanic and Ramsey. Or maybe he would bring Attacking Midfielder Luis Alberto from lazio also and play a 3412/4312.

DeChamps would play a 433/442 dynamic system. With france he played 433 with Griezmann Giroud Mbappe upfront so he could do the same with us with maybe Kean Ronaldo Dybala upfront in a 433 but defensively matuidi would be cruitial on the left hand side as he would cover for ronaldo not coming back to defend and switch to a 442.

Any opinions on Rodrigo De Paul? Seems ready for a big club now but smells of Inter.

For me he has that bit of attitude I expect from better South Americans, and would fill a role between midfield and attack that we lack a bit.

watched him live against juve at udine. his movement is impressive, also very good with the ball: passing, vision, holding on to the ball, he has it all. he's slow af and not too physical though. he could be useful, but it depends on our next coach and on our midfield: if we keep pjanic and a formation with wingers, say 4-2-3-1, de paul could link up nicely with pjanic, berna and whoever we're left with come september.

i'm not sure. conte started with a 4-whatever during his first season here, and the same goes for chelsea.

Because he had 3 top cv in Barzagli, Bonucci & Chiellini (he didn't want to bench one of them) and 4 great midfielders in Vidal, Pogba, Marchisio & Pirlo.. That was the main reason why he introduced that system. With this current squad it would be suicide.
