Bro. The apprentice wishes to become the master. Why trade one top player when you can dispose of 3?

Let's just see if he manages to get good money for them, and who he brings in to replace them. I'm sure if we downgrade, some peasants will remain in denial and sing Fab's praises come September 1st.
I know and it's not just that, I'm so tired of "give me whatever you want and I'll make it work" for several reasons: It doesn't work, I'm sure Max's a lot to do with our transfer market since a while ago by now (not just his boy MDS) and Max loves to take out the pressure of his shoulder (GOAT=win everything, there's not middle ground)

By activating this taxation, those who decide to reside in the Bel Paese could pay a fixed fee of €100,000 a year applicable only on foreign income, whereas they would normally pay taxes on income generated within Italy (this is the reason why it is not a true flat tax).

From my understanding this has nothing to do with the salaries that clubs will pay to the players. Am I missing something?
Those are two different things. The one you quoted is already in use, whereas the one we are speaking about is about to be introduced.

This is from 2017 and it looks totally different from what people are saying here

"Let’s focus on the Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo. He would pay the tax on salaries and sponsors but he could only pay €100,000 for his income from assets (such as hotels or real estate associated with his name)."
My bad I went over it quickly, but I'm pretty sure there was an article mentioning it in this thread

I believe this was the link posted - https://taxinsights.ey.com/archive/...uces-new-tax-measures-to-attract-foreign.aspx

And from my quick scan, it's not what people are suggesting:

Starting from 1 January 2019, beneficiaries of this special regime, may opt to pay a substitutive tax of 7% on all foreign source income in lieu of the progressive tax rates (which range from 23% to 43% plus 3% as local taxes).

This is a tax measure very similar to the 2017 “New Resident regime”, aimed at attracting high net worth individuals by allowing them to pay a flat tax of EUR100,000 on their foreign sourced income, irrespective of the actual amount of income.

This was the link posted before. It specifically talks about footballing cases. This "Decreto Crescita" has apparently been in effect only since first of this month.

This is the only English article I found that discusses this Decreto Crescita:

It's interesting that exemption is more (70% to 90%) for southern regions. So there might be a possibility of
Conte in Napoli :scared:

So it would only be income not generated in Italy so this really doesn't help us to pay wages :(

Do you have a link for it?
Mister posted a link to an article in Il Sole 24 or something like that.
It's great for the club, but that's such a dumb system for the country.
Why? They want to bring rich people to Italy so that they spend their filthy fortunes within the country busting Italian economy and earn money on VAT.

Because it is a policy for the richest and this leads to a tax injustice, it's not normal for a guy like Ronaldo to end up paying a tax on 16% of his income while a middle-class person will be taxed more than Ronaldo in proportion to his income. With this kind of politics this will do as in France a social anger will appear in Italy because all these fiascals gifts it will be necessary that someone pay them.

Doubt it will happen.

Too good to be true for Serie A.

If Rubio means Rabiot then Pogs and Sergej doesnt need to be mentioned as alternatives, if its one of them of course we are going to sign the free one...
if pjanic stays!
we are not going to spend big money on a Midfielder when we have pjanic,Can and matuidi.
but if we sell pjanic for more than 70m then makes sense to buying a replacement for him. it's as if we buy players simply because they're in demand.
