Your missing the point.

My concern is this: Hopefully we get rid of sturaro and bring in someone for a third option playmaker cm.

The point here is not how many midfielders we have but what kind Imo. We already have Matuidi, can and khedira as ball winners. No need for sturaro. If we do this we have 3 decent options for each spot instead of just the two and marchisio which is a great player but sorry to say can't be trusted to deliver a whole season anymore

As it stands,

Pjanic > Khedira > Matuidi > Can > Bentancur > Marchisio

I'm hoping Can moves up the list, but I guess its going to take some time as he seems to have fitness issues
I like Can's potential. He is excellent skill set wise. He is good on the ball, and great at protecting it with his body. He is an above average passer, has a decent shot, is good in the air, a good tackler, and has a decent shot. Perhaps we can get the best out of him because putting it all together seems to be the problem.

The problem with our midfield is lack of technical ability. Outside of Pjanic and maybe bentancur there’s no one that can threaten a defense with either a pass, a run, or a shot. This has been exposed ever since Pogba left, yet some seem content with it because we made two finals or whatever.

Pogba and SMS aren’t the only two mids that would upgrade Juve.

Mateo Kovacic has decided not to train with Real Madrid until his future is resolved.

I like your judgement sir. If Sturaro manages to stay, where would he be in that ranking.

Sturaro >Pjanic > Khedira > Matuidi > Can > Bentancur > Marchiso

or

Pjanic > Khedira > Matuidi > Can > Bentancur > Sturaro >Marchiso

This.

On the latter, i think there are other players than Pogba and SMS, that would improve us, but those two are the obvious improvements i guess. I just dont hope we go desperate and do a deal like we did with Hernanes

I think you haven't followed the saga of his transfer. It was like a monthly soap opera including Pogba and Adidas. Nothing like Ronaldo transfer in comparison.
I followed the transfer saga from before Di Culo and after, the soap opera was all us and created by us. There was complete radio silence from the teams and the player and the agent, just like Ronaldo only a month more. There was zero disrespect from the player all that while, what you're saying is absolute nonsense if you blame him for being quiet.

Judging by the urgency we showed in selling Higuain, you'd know there's no way we are signing a big player now unless we are selling Alex Sandro or Pjanic.

I don't think its quite like that, though you do make a valid point.

The club has shown it knows what needs to be addressed and we definitely need a mobile, technical midfielder.
