Stefano Sturaro’s agent believes his client will “carve out his place” at Juventus next season, and calls a move to Lazio “improbable”.
The midfielder made only seven Serie A starts this season, and with Emre Can arriving to further increase the midfield competition it’s expected that he’ll move on in the summer.
“
Every offer for Sturaro in recent years has been rejected by Juventus,” Carlo Volpi pointed out on RMC Sport.
“The lad is very much in consideration and appreciated from a moral point of view, the men in the group are important for them.
“I think that after the farewell to captain [Gigi] Buffon, the directors want to create a new solid core to pull the team forward.
“
There are very strong players, from [Sami] Khedira, a current world champion, to [Miralem] Panic through [Blaise] Matuidi and [Claudio] Marchisio.
But there’s Sturaro too :

“
Thanks to his versatility he’ll carve out his place. He never gives up, not even in training, and Juventus like that.
“
He’s a pretty good goalkeeper too, so I’m disappointed that [Mattia] Perin has arrived!
“If Sergej Milinkovic-Savic signs? When good players come it’s never bad news. Of course
competition would increase further, but he’ll always fight for his place.”
