Our only hope is if Man U isn't interested in him. But still, he has 4 years left on his contract; Lotito isn't under pressure to sell.
Pogba and SMS both excel at the exact same position - LCM/AM in a 3-man midfield. It makes no sense for United to sign him, especially not at a 100m price.

Lotito might think he has all the cards in his hands, but SMS have only played one great season and he isn't needed among the top 10 rich clubs. PSG might break bank for him, but who else? So Lotito can keep on staying stubborn, but he risk SMS loosing value over tiem. SMS' value will top at the World Cup, want to cash in? Now's the tiem.

Pogba had 4 years too - Lotitos hands are completely tied
Who is that in your avatar? Johnny boy?

My bid: Milinkovic-Savic will be sold for soemthing closer to 80m than 100m unless he owns the World Cup.

Lotito's appearances in the media seems so desperate: he knows the player is gone, but the offers aren't as high as he has cried. Claiming you've turned down 100m and selling for less is huge loss on the ego. His problem? What rich club needs SMS?
Didnt you bash me on how unrealistic is SMS?
What has changed?

Lotito's best sales at Lazio

Precisely why Pjanic and Verratti shouldnt be on the same team :baus:
I dont think we are going to get Verratti anytime soon...
Can will play infront of the defense with2 midfielders
Pjanic might go or stay but I hope SMS will be there too

Bold part , interesting.
Gazzetta is really shiit these days. What sort of lazy reporting is this?

Cancelo's date with Inter expiring and Paratici knowing their director, a former Juve employee - they put two and two together and really emphasize the latter. As if knowing/not knowing a director dictates our interest in a player.

Plus signing overrated Cancelo when we already have Cuadrado makes no sense.

I wonudnt say he's overrated. Cuadrado is much worse at right back for sure.

I agree regarding Benatia and Higuain. I disagree when it comes to Pjanic, unless it's a ridiculous offer or in exchange for a player of equal or superior quality.
Yeah, offer obviously has to be higher than what he's worth (rumored numbers are) AND replacement has to be better (or same but younger), which is true for any transfer.

He's only good on the ball and only skill-wise. Makes poor decisions and passes. Poor defensively.

Cuadrado looked very promising at RB. We don't need to splash for a RB let alone signing another attacking one.

Ideal would be if the Benatia replacement can play RB too like Howedes. Then we'll have both attacking and defensive options.

Then i wonder why Barca and Madrid want him :shifty:

That's a ridiculous statement
Ridiculous is this forum-wide goldfish memory syndrome. Till his injury, Matuidi was our most consistent and important CM who made the midfield and team balanced. Esp after we switched to 3 man mid.

That doesn't make him a Tardelli or Davids. He was the most consistent of a subpar bunch (by top team standards) while Pjanic was the best on a technical level.

I have decided that if it will happen, I will give disclosure of my sources (a few selected ones here, the ones I have met, know already, one has even met one of them as we went to the Stadium together)

In what capacity are your sources in the know? Do they work for the club or work for someone who works for the club?

He did say pre-injury.
But he wasn't. Not even close.

Pjanic and Dybala were fantastic in the fall. Our best two players for the first 3 months or so of the season by far. The big reason we kept pace with Napoli. It wasn't until winter that those two really fell off in terms of consistent performances.

I signed SMS in the latest installment of the hit series Football Manager for 80mil payed out in installments over three years so it is doable.

It was not without sacrfice though as his agent demanded a titload in signing on fees tho so i had to sell stefano "at your mom's house" Sturaro to fund the deal :(

Psg would I'd argue. Their midfield is pretty lightweight will ffp allow them to bid excessively for sms? Probably not

He said most consistent and most important which simply isn't true.

We went to a CL final last year with Pjanic playing out of his mind down the stretch. He carried his consistency and form right through to November-December this year. It's no surprise that our performances suffered once Pjanic's form fell off around Christmas.

And from watching us in the games Pjanic missed it's pretty damn obvious that he is by far our most important mid and maybe even most important player for this past season.

I’m not arguing just clarifying

I agree Pjanic was better but it can also be argued he would not have had such a strong start to the season if Matuidi wasn’t playing so well BEFORE the injury. Matuidi helped get the mid to click
