Yeah I don't expect Martial, but he would be fantastic way to move on from Mandzu who seems lost this season, as the main LW or 2nd CF in the team.

Why can't we keep Costa as main LW and have Pjaca as back up?
We need to spend on midfield and L/R backs

Letting Asa go will be a mistake. He's having a great year and he more than earned a new contract imo.
Asa and Spinazzola at LB is a bit meh but I think it will be good. Plus we'll have more money for important positions like RB, CM and a proper left winger.

Martial is TWICE the player Pjaca is.
First of all Pjaca clearly has a big untapped talent but comparing those two is useless. Pjaca would come in as a bench option, Martial wouldn't.
Pjaca coming in would mean we're more than set in terms of numbers. The starting quality is already there... Dybala & Douglas Costa can start around Higgy. Cuadrado & Berna are decent bench options with Manbro as backup for Higgy & Pjaca as allrounder. We need our funds for other spots.

We DEFINITELY need a striker with pace. We are too $#@!ing slow, even with Costa.
But when do we ever play in a style that suits a fast striker?

Most times we play side to side, then backwards, then try some intricate play around the box. Especially as 90% of teams sit back against us, there really isn't space to play in behind.

Plus is Higuain that slow? He is heavy and not electric but seems to do well on counters and has shown a decent turn of pace.

Tbh, if we receive a huge offer for Pjanic, I'd sell him. He's a great player on his day, but incredibly inconsistent. I'd sell Pjanic for 90-100 million, Sandro for 70, and rebuild with youngsters, Martial, Fabinho, Can, Caldara, and Spinazolla.

There is plenty of space if you play the ball into space early. We take our sweet time moving the ball down the field allowing the other team to stack up in front of goal. We are too slow. Once we get to the box we also look clueless. Been saying that for some time now...our ideas in the box are pretty bland.

I'm definitely warming up to the idea of selling Sandro. His peak we saw, I don't think we will see it again.

Pjanic is another player in a 3 man midfield. So is Marchisio. What Max did today with the formation change was mental. Pjanic should stay. I'll help Sandro pack his bags.
