He is good but honestly he isnt in our best 11 yet - He is definitely a player who can be there though..
As for someone who hasnt been mentioned here Pjaca - He IMO is a player who can act as another type of weapon when needed but I just cant see him as a future starter as he is too much of a dribbler and less of everything else..
D.Costa is getting better everyday though and surely deserve to be in next year`s starting 11 though

When will the Kovacic hype end? The man underperformes season after season with 10 different coaches. He does not fit 99% of teams because he simply doesn't understand football. He has 0 tactical awareness. Only way he works is like Mazzarri used to play him in a 3-5-2 with no responsibilities. He isn't worth it.
Is he underperforming? Because he isnt a starter for Madrid. If anything I think that through all these coaches and none of them want him gone to bring in better talent at Madrid says something. He isnt a world beater but he is quite good. Also under performing is very relative term. How good do you expect him to be? For instance I think Higuain is underperforming because of his price but Vucinic overperformed for us. Higgy is miles ahead
Yes he is inderperforming lol. Have you seen him? Adds less and less every time. That's his trajectory every single time. Season starts, his talent and promise show through his technique, gets starts and everyone is hopeful, quickly becomes useless guys the bench and plays less and less.
He is a central midfielder whose main contribution are runs into space with the the ball. At everything else he is average or below average. His apparent talent never actually shows in consistent performances.
He is obviously behind the 3 starting midfielders, then behind Isco, then behind Asensio and Vazquez. Soon enough he will be behind Ceballos.

Kovacic will add something to this team that we have missed since Pogba left. A skillful, direct midfielder who can dribble past multiple opponents and slice open defences. Pjanic was more of a Pirlo replacement. We haven’t replaced Pogba yet, Kovacic would be ideal.
