Also Pellegrini should not be mentioned as an alternative to Kovacic. Pellegrini is good choice for a back up, Kovacic would make our starting midfield a lot better.

I just don't think we will get SMS. I keep seeing Premier League sides and PSG linked with him. We won't outbid them and Lazio wouldn't sell him to us anyway.

We tend to have good luck with outcasts of other teams. I think we will get either Isco or Kovacic in the summer.

But we have probably already decided to go with Can + an Italien midfielder like Pellegrini or Barella

We need to DELETE the mediocre/injury prone players from our midfield.
