Lazio offering €30M for Cristante - Repubblica

Does this mean anything :shifty:

- - - Updated - - -

Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino wants more transfer funds available this summer and will part with five first-team players in order to generate extra income, according to the Mirror .

The Spurs boss wants club chairman Daniel Levy to back him with a relaxed wage budget and more money in order to attract higher quality players to the team.

Pochettino has green-lit the sale of Toby Alderweireld, Danny Rose, Mousa Dembele, Fernando Llorente and Moussa Sissoko.

@King of Kings - yay or nay to Verratti and why?
Unfortunately no.

Here is my reason why. The Verratti of 2018 is not the finished product that I envisioned when I wanted him here so badly in 2012, if that makes any sense.

I truly thought that he would be the new Porno, but he has fallen far short of that. No composure whatsoever.

Call me optimistic, but I think Juve is exactly what he needs.

Verratti will be expensive. Very expensive in fact. Maybe PSG has green-lit his sale, but his wages are astronomical and he is too inconsistent.

Verratti - Pjanic
- Can -

If that is the plan, we would be definitely lacking in muscle. Can is ok, but he can't be everywhere to get the ball. I would prefer SMS or Pogba instead of Verratti, unless we are offloadin Pjanic of course.

As of now its nothing serious imho. If PSG were forced to sell there are better players to chase in that team.

Also if we are going 433 next season, what happens to Dybala? I hope we aren't thinking of 352 again with offensive wingbacks.

They have a really good attack: Neymar, Cavani & Mbappe but other then those three id pick Verratti TBH

SMS is not your typical CM, he is too all-around, same as Paul was. Using him as your typical CM alongside Pjanic would be foolish, and we don't have other position to use him.

Fuck Cavani and Neymar. Both are not worth it, albeit for different reasons. Mbappe is another story, probably the player I'd like most out of everyone, but I would take Kimpembe and Marquinhos too, before Verratti.

If we use three mids, then one of them don't have to stick to his position. SMS would do much like Paul did when he was here at the 352. I too don't see either of them 'locked' into a two man midfield. On the other hand the unsung hero Matuidi is something I can't fucking stand (as a skillset in a midfielder) as he isn't even strong. I'd prefer Bentacur as at least his passing range, vision and technique are on another level already compared to the french.
