PSG? Man City? Chelsea?

Chelsea still havent signed anyone after all this negotiating and their fans are getting angtsy
Both PSG and Chelsea need a bit different profile than Pjanič with Jorginho and Fabregas and Verratti and Rabiot already there, besides one is in trouble with FFP and the other way too tight with their budget to realistically bid crazy money like 100m for Pjanič.

Man City for me makes more sense as Pep surely is a fan and they could realistically bid that. But it's very late to negotiate them going after Pjanič, us going after Pogba or SMS and United or Lazio plugging their hole, don't think we'll see a major shift like that.

for me SMS wont work in two man mid, he doesnt work in defence enough. He should either play in midfield trio or as attacking mid with two DMs behind him.
Player with his physics really should be able to play in a two man mid, but I have no idea really. :boh:

That's what tifosibianconeri guru said 10 days ago too (I posted it somewhere here). After him, Pjanic will be sold and he keeps saying all summer long, that we are trying hard for SMS.

:agree:

Imagine this:
Szczesny
Cancelo Benatia Chiellini Sandro
Bonucci
Can Milinkovic
Dybala Ronaldo Costa

:shifty:
now the "im like Pirlo" comment from Bonucci finally makes sense :scared:

I wont act like an expert when it comes to him, but from what I seen from him imo he wont do it. He shouldnt have too much defensive responsibility if he is to show his best - in this area he is similiar to Pogba, he should have two other mids whi will work their asses off while he can show his magic skills.
I might be wrong though.

If we want Pogba, we'd have to give up Douglas Costa. That's more or less the basics I am getting.

In case MU are unable to sell Martial (which seems more and more a reality by the day), we might have another shot at Pogs. All this is assuming Mino acts as a regular agent and doesn't hold MU hostage.

It is a tough call though. MU need that RW, we would preferably give them Cuadrado, but their preferences in order are DC/Bale, Dembele, Willian ...

? we have 3 registas in the team after Pjanic, none as good atm but an Khedira -> SMS would be a bigger upgrade than Pjanic -> Can is a downgrade imo
Can doesnt necessarily have to assume Pjanic's role. Its just making some tactical tweaks. Bonucci will help us play the ball out from the back. Can will sit there in front of defense and do the dirty work which will give guys like SMS the freedom to bomb forward. We may not be as good in controlling the game without Pjanic but as described above, we might become a more direct team in the process.

What I would do with SMS:
Szczesny
Cancelo Bonucci Chiellini Sandro
Can
SMS Matuidi
Dybala Ronaldo Costa

Basically 433 with Can playing CDM (regista) while SMS is RCM and Matuidi is LCM. Imo this role also suits Matuidi the best.

But is it really better than similiar formation but Can/Khedira instead of SMS and Pjanic as CDM? I really doubt it.
But in trading Pjanic for SMS there are two points u have to have in my mind - Pjanic wages - he surely will want a pay rise, probably something around 7m (SMS probably would settle for round 4.5m). The other point is his age - its perfect moment to get the most plusvalenza from his sale.

@Post Ironic

This silly joke stops now. It is so idiotic considering I am pummeling hot birds daily while most posters here count their blessings on the rare occasions that they actually manage to pull some fat American bird knee deep into her garlic cheese fries on a Saturday night in Philly.

This forum needs to respect the King of Tuz.
the fat ones are actually experts in blowjobs and wont complain if they get a fracture of the jaw from oral sex...

had 2 chickas saw them in the same flight, i cant take this stress anymore. the stewardess was such a beauty/filthy swine

what a pity for pipita. cant believe he agreed to go there because of the project. obviously because in mailand he can chill, eat, make party & fuuuuuck the fucking models :marc:. some players go to qatar and golzalo goes to mailand

Pretty much this.
We need that physical presence, more than we need pjanic creativity, especially now with Bonnuci.

Ya. Apart from pjanic, can and matuidi are anyway not that good with technical aspect of the game.

I'd like to see more interplay in the final third instead of middle third.

And one thing is crystal clear - Cristiano Ronaldo appreciates a faster more direct possessional service

I see your point and I agree with it in principle, but I don't know about this part. He's not that good. He provides some flair and creativity for us, but not tons.

He is not really that creative. The only thing that really sets Pjanic aside is hes setpiece abilities which is the best in the world.

If “trading” Pjanic and SMS is a possibility we should do it. SMS is already the better player, he is 5 years younger, and have potential to become one of the best CM’s in the game, whereas Pjanic is at most on the level just below.
