Pjanic is not indispensable.

The midfield needs an SMS type of player for sure.

One of Miralems key attributes is his exceptional free kick taking skill from 20/25 yds.

This area is now covered by Dybala and CR7.

Lotito will find a cash/player adjustment valued at €105mincluding MP extremely tempting.
how much would he value Pjanic I wonder if we offer Pjanic plus cash

Better to stay the way we are then.

A midfield signing only makes sense if we can keep our best players, otherwise we are just gambling, not improving.

Tak!

We should seriously start thinking more long-term with HG. We are always somewhat tied behind our backs because we lack HGs. Lichsteiner two year in a row felt that and Pjaca was only an injury away from it. Now we not only had to get rid of Pipita's salary and cash in, but we had no slots. Sturaro and Pjaca the same, they have to go because we cannot register them. We don't need them to be Ronaldo's' we need four players that can fill a role, such as Sturaro. We brought Spinnazola back which is great. Versatile and probably happy enough to sit on the bench. Marchisio's body is dead but, I love him and want him to stay until he has no desire left.

Now we cannot add anyone unless we let more people go (besides Pjaca and Sturaro of course). Benatia seemed to want out or bigger salary, I didn't really understand. He's a better defender than Bonucci and I doubt he's happy with this. Doubt we will let him go though, and we shouldn't. Khedira's contract will expire next year yet I don't think anyone will want him. If anything, Marotta will just cut his contract although it seems unlikely too. If we let Rugani go then we really have given up on Italian "youth". Mario is getting old but a favorite of Agnelli it seems and a useful player. With Pipita gone I strongly doubt we can let him go. So then Bentancur is then the only one I can guess will go out on a loan somewhere.

Our management has done miracles and I trust them. There is, however - always - room for improvement. I am not claiming we are not thinking long-term - because we are - we would not be where we are if our fantastic management did not. I hope, however, we can start considering bringing in our own meat to fill some spots. These will be cheap and demand less. When Khedira's contract expires, add someone that comes from us. I have no clue about our youngsters now. The little I've seen from Kean looked interesting yet still very raw. I wouldn't mind having him around but he needs to play more regularly than being backup to backups. Marrone is poor but I wouldn't mind having someone like him around. He'd hardly play much but decent enough not to ruin things. One single player will not crash everything unless it's e.g. a young Bonucci. I suppose Romagna and Lirola aren't good enough(?) but we ought to have produced at least someone half decent over the years. This has been nagging me for years so I'd like to see some development in these areas. To turn our academy not just to cash flow but to fill a role for our first team.

That's one aspect I'd like to see change. The second thing would be to start selling players like Spurs or Chelski and the others that seem to sell potatoes as gold. Not just to other PL clubs but everywhere. We are fairly good at selling youth players to an overprice IMO, but fairly poor with senior players.

I think the B team thingy is going to help us develop our youngsters better.

ADL is already complaining that we own so many and the are distributed all around the league like little Trojans...B team play will help.
