Don't worry. We can keep Higuain without selling a first team player.

- - - Updated - - -

Multiple Italian reports say that Higuaín has turned down Milan.

He doesn't trust in their ownership and has clarified his stance to both clubs, that a player of his stature shouldn't be moving out on loan without assurances.

He also seeks €9m net wages.

Makes perfect sense

Keep him.

Still we need to announce Leo and denounce Caldara.

The only reason you want Higgy to stay is that you don't want Bonucci here.

I like Higgy, but with Ronaldo being here, he is a very expensive surplus.

Higuain staying isn't a bad thing, since we are clearly going with the win now approach, will take a hit of another 20mil when we sell him next year but will be worth it if we win the CL. A striker of that quality will always be useful.

[Paris United] Rabiot has decided to stay at PSG and he is negotiating his renewal with the club. The first offer is 6.6 millions net per season + bonus. they are close to reaching an agreement
As expected really....whatever.

Im a fan of higuain, but come on , a bench striker that costs us 33 million euros a year is just stupid

Firstly he isn't going to be a bench sticker, with three tournaments to play and us using Ronaldo carefully he's going to get more than enough starting time. Plus when you are aiming for glory in CL and league and probably the treble you need a striker like that, why? What if one of ronaldo or dybala gets injured? Because they will get injured.

Higuain is great, but I'd rather sell him than Alex Sandro or Pjanic.

Because it's clear as day we can't afford to keep him.

I doubt we will sell pjanic no matter what, if he is sold either Pogba or SMS will come in.

Tbh I'd be happy to see Sandro go if it means we keep higuain, because you're not winning the CL if you assume none of dybala or Ronaldo are going to get injured during the course of the year.

But if anyone comes in with an offer of 60mil for higuain, sell him packed with a nice bow.

18m amortiation and 15m gross wages
I'm not a financial experd, but the ammortization thing seems a bit weird to me. It can only be calculated on the basis of his current contract - right? We paid x for him and every year of his contract he depreciates by x until he is out contract?

Say he has a stellar year, we prolong his contract and he lands us 60m next summer. What does that do to his numbers on our books?
