My points are:

1. We bring back Bonucci which is the biggest disadvantage for me.
2. We lose Caldara who's a bright prospect just to bring back Bonucci.
3. We make our bitter rivals Milan stronger by giving them Higuain under very plausible conditions (loan, only 55mln total fee) who will carry them into top4. Don't tell me 55mln for one of the best strikers in the game is some heavy fee. Atletico paid over 50mln for Diego Costa even though he couldn't play for half a year, is the same age as Higuain and had totally no future at Chelsea.
4. We take a huge flop with totally unreasonable wages away from them.
5. Higuain has been a great players for us, he appreciated Juve, showed his gratitude every time when he spoke and on the pitch. Caldara was also very excited to finally come to us and we are shipping these two great lads out just to bring that $#@!ing bitch back. I just feel so sorry for Pipa and Mattia. It's a $#@!ing disgrace.
i agree 100% :frown:

Why is there so uncertainty about Milan owners and ownership pattern
Rossoneri Sport Investment Lux owned by Yonghong Li bought 99.9% stake in Milan for 740m from Silvio.

Li defaulted in paying 32m of interest on the debt to hedge fund Elliott management , which assisted him by contributing 335m of the 740m.

Based on the terms of the loan, failure to repay the debt meant that Elliott Management could take control of the club.

We were humiliated in the transfer involving Bonucci, Higuain and Caldara, it's quite simple. This was just a game of patience, and Beppe got scared and panicked.

Who got a better deal here, and let's be honest and objective. It's definitely Milan. They are getting rid of a player that is forcing his way out, had a shitty year and are getting more for him than what they paid for; how is this even possible. And not to mention they are getting Higuain on loan+option, in addition to Caldara who has a bright future ahead of him.

Let's look at it from Juve's perspective:
1. Why on earth would we want/need Bonucci back? The fucker forced his way out last year, caused a shitstorm during the halftime of the fucking CL final, thought he was bigger than the club, disrespected Allegri (who I value far higher than Bonucci, even before the latter went to Milan), celebrated in Juve stadium, etc.. Not the mention how shitty season Bonucci had. Seriously why are we even considering taking him back?
2. Caldara, I feel for this guy. We had him on loan for 1.5 years, held a press conference for him, started integrating him into the team, now we are basically forcing him out just to bring Bonucci back? (ok I know, that this also relates to Higuain).
3. I understand that we need to sell Higuain, but please don't tell me no club in the world would take Higuain on 18m loan with an option to buy, you have to be stupid to believe it.

Beppe also showed his character by forcing out the players that don't want to leave, and at the same time saying we only sell players who express their wish to leave. If I was in Caldara's place and I was being offered to other clubs and Beppe would be indicating that the club wants me gone, of course, I would also say that I want to leave, who the fuck wouldn't. So Beppe can go fuck himself with this statements.

We got played so hard in this deal, it's crazy. We had all the cards in our hands, but we panicked. If we really wanted to sign Bonucci, we had the player's strong will on our side, we had a player (Caldara) that was more than happy to stay with us, and we knew that we can afford to let Higuain go on 18m loan. All we needed to do is to be patient; come the end of August, some team might be getting shitty results, Morata might be playing badly, some star striker might get injured, teams panick at the end of the market,..., and here is the opportunity to sell Higuain. But no, we were more interested in fucking the whole thing up.

I am more than happy with what Beppe & co did this summer since the signings were just amazing, but this deal really leaves a bad taste in my mouth. We just look so retarded in this deal, we are even concluding negotiations at Milan's offices, ffs.

But what's done is done, I am just really worried about the average age of our CB department and about Bonucci coming back since if he doesn't start putting in WC performances starting matchday 1 he won't overcome this since fans will just turn against him even more than they would otherwise.

That certainly is a possibility. They'd have to be extremely stupid to buy him.

So we can all agree on how monumentally stupid the Higuain deal was?
Expensive? Yes, absolutely.

Stupid? I don't know about that. Juve took a shot at the best available striker on the market at that time, via his release clause. A striker that they were certain that if said release clause was activated, he would join us.

55 goals in 105 matches may have been less than what was expected, but the regularity to which the Amauri comparisons are thrown about are unfair, in my opinion. My real gripe with him was the notion that he felt that he could get in game shape during the course of the season, which to me is unacceptable.

You are a professional athlete, you need to be in that kind of shape, or close to it all the time. Especially considering the heavy financial investment that was made

The irony is that he faded in the second half of both seasons at Juve. Whatever his workout regimen is, he needs to change it. He’s in shape now, but thats probably because of the World Cup.

Umm, but if that finances article on the top of this page is correct, how were we "humiliated" in this deal?

Coming out with a 23 million euros net gain (if they don't buy Higgy) or a 41 million euros net gain (if they buy him, which they will) is being humiliated?

The way I see it, if those numbers are really true, then we can go get SMS right now for 120 million (as long as Lotito would agree to three installments). 40 million euros per season.

(And we'd sell the guy on after three years for 100+ million anyways).

Please explain how we got humiliated in the deal.

But my point of contention with him is that he should always be in that type of shape if he wants to be considered a serious player.

Unless you are injured, there is no excuse to get yourself back into match fitness on company time.

FACT: While most here are nagging and bitching, the club is doing everything in their power to ensure that next season's starting XI is better than the previous one. And it will be, by quite some margin.

Yes, Bonucci will come, and yes, what he did last year was despicable. But surely you must see that getting an experienced highly regarded CB for an unproven youngster is an upgrade?

And I'm saying this in spite of the fact that I want Caldara to stay. In a few years, he can become a very good defender. I don't believe he will be a new Barzagli or a new Nesta, but I believe he will be quality. So it's a shame to lose him when considering the long term.

But the club has decided that this year is the year we go all in, and they are banking on ready-made stars / experienced internationals rather than youth. In my opinion, sometimes this is justified. Unless you wanna be Arsenal and opt for youth all over the park so as to claim: "Some day, lads! Some days these headless chickens will be very good and then we'll win lads!"

We have a squad full of world class players and superstars now, the team is improving and our popularity and revenues are soaring. And we just signed the best player in the world. We got Cancelo and Can on board and now Chiellini soon will partner up with a top CB who he has great chemistry with.

We're a fantastic team and ready to push for trophies on all fronts, even in Europe where we are among the favourites next season.

All thanks to a disgusting management and a 2/10 mercato ::lol3::
I’m sorry, arent Caldara and Cancelo same age. One is a youngster the other is a proven star in the international stage. FFS. They’re about the same level.

The big difference though is that Cancelo is a marked improvement over what we had last year at RB, whilst Caldara would be fighting for minutes behind even Rugani had he stayed.

Because a lot of fans (including myself) are high on Caldara. But if it clears money up for SMS I think people will forget real quick.
