The weird thing is that while I know Darmian can play both sides, he is naturally right footed. Wouldn’t that Inhibit the ability to cross in balls for Cristiano? Doesn’t seem like something Allegri would do. It would be puzzling. Bernat I suppose would make more sense.

Yup. 4-2-3-1 at home and v shit teams away. No one can't do shit about that. And 4-3-3 v stronger teams. Matuidi, Can and Pjanic in the middle.

Based on what I hear from people who have seen him play a lot, Darmian is far from the level we should be aiming at. It will be a huge downgrade, I'm told.

:agree:

He’s been utterly average for United and the Italian NT. It would be a massive downgrade. Let him go to Inter or Napoli, and let’s hope Sandro stays or we find some other good LB to replace him.

God (Beppe) willing.

Also; one thing that sort of makes me calm for now, which was pointed out to me earlier today, is that Cristiano would probably not have joined us without certain guarantees with regards to the squad. I can't ever see him being excited to play with the likes of Sturaro and Darmian.

Darmian ONLY made sense as a depth option, when we thought Barza will go, so he would be some sort of 5th fullback (can play both sides) and 5th CB (for a 3 man defense, dont trust him as a CB in a 2 man defense). but with Barza staying:

Chiellini, Benatia, Caldara, Rugani, Barzagli
Cancelo, AS, Spinazzola, De Sciglio

+ Cuadrado (RB) and Can (CB, for 3 man defense)

we are kinda stacked. if AS leaves, we need better.

Shit source for AS tho. Paris United? They linked us with Martial IIRC. Is that Bernat guy really that crap for Bayern? Since Pep signed him, he must be shit defender and decent going forward.

Sandro is the biggest mysterious character in Juve. He is Brazilian, but he does not behave like them. Agresti once wrote that he is an introvert. He does not speak Italian (I do not know how now). He is sitting at home all the time. Half year ago, they wrote that he had family problems but the club hides it perfectly. Where is the problem ? He never felt comfortable living in Italy. But will it be better in England? Maybe it's about an individual problem. The depression among footballers is becoming more and more popular lately..

What do u guys think ?
I would sit at home too, if the other option would be to explore the streets of a shithole like Turin. He'll get a new, better life in England.

Sturaro and Ronaldo are going to make a great partnership @piotrr

You know, years after my first trip there, during a hypnosis, I was asked by my psychologist to draw Hell in an effort to relieve me of my inner demons. A little later the doc snapped his fingers, I woke up and there it was, right in front of me on the canvas: Turin.

Can't really say I was surprised at what I had drawn.
