We could offer him more playing time. He's good enough to challenge for a starting spot here. Nowhere near good enough for RM midfield this year and at Barca I can't see many chances either. He's a young lad, but talented for his age. Good enough to challenge our current midfielders bar Pjanic.
I agree. We should call him and tell him he will have a starting spot here. I think that would sway his decision if we assure him playing time.. I know big clu 's don't do that but we should make an exception if it would bring him here. Our midfield sucks aside from pjanic so there is no real risk. He would add a lot

This is a hypothetical but would anyone think it good if Juve sold Dybala to Madrid for 80m Euro plus James with madrid agreeing to let Ceballos come here then we bought Bernardeschi and Costa too with the money.

we could bring in 4 really good players and our team would be better overall despite losing our best player.

James +80mil is a no brainer. better deal than we will actually get when Dybala wants to leave

I prefer Dybala straight swap for Verratti but we will use our Dybala money on 3 mediocre players or so

Slow news in France...

Well, I can still put up a summary of what was talked about in CulturePSG podcast:

- They said N'Zonzi is still Juventus Plan A, but Juve refuses to pay the 40M release clause, and Sevilla said they won't accept anything lower.
- They said Matuidi is Juve Plan B, but they doubt Juve will even offer 15M, but more like 10M, which is so low that PSG might as well keep the player one more year as a super sub.

    Just leaving this here
Pedulla “ Gareth Bale agent in Italy for a trip next few days business and Bale likes Juventus “
Jonathan Barnett is also Joe Hart's agent. Regardless, thinking Bale would take a -50% hit to his wages to join an Italian club is just silly, considering the entire EPL gang could support his wages and he is a britbong.

Mautidi super sub? who will be his replacement in First Xl?

Regarding Bale, he has a very high wage for us and he will find less space than Spain or England in Serie A. also very high transfer fee.

    I'm no stepping stone
Juve has lost it's pride, needs to hire me to get it back.

    - - - Updated - - -

Gonna win CL with sturaro captain, schezny in net, zaza leading the line, astori cb :touched:
More like get relegated to Serie B :D

    - - - Updated - - -

A lot of talk about spending 100 million net. I can't see it. Even being optimistic I can't see it being more than 65 max.
The year is 2017. 65 million won't do shit.

I hope we get Ceballos. Would be an amazing signing although I won't hold my hopes up too much.

Don't care if we sell our best players as long as we're improving the team by signing top talents. This insecurity needs to stop !
And there we have it folks. Defeatism, loser mentality, and coping mechanism rolled into one :touched:

That's a huge contradiction. Selling your best players and improving the team don't go hand in hand. Our midfield is still worse than it was 2-3 years ago.
