Here is what I don't understand...if we pay 100m for a player that our club obviously thinks is worth the money, then what is it to any of you? It's not your money. It's the clubs. If the club can afford it then who the hell cares?
Can happen but probably wont Di Maria 40M Sanchez 40M CM (Fabinho Tolisso Savic) 30-40M with sales we can make this mercato possible but... it wont happen!
The fact that Bayern are ready to get rid of Douglas Costa when Robben and Ribery are getting older and older and nearing retirement doesnt sit right with me (yes i know they might sign Alexis as the replacement). Different situations but see Sweinsteiger, Man Utd thought they would get super hyper player, got a flop who sat on reserves bench. Costa is obviously much younger at 26 but he hasnt really been consistent. Has temper issues, isnt really a proper team player. I dont know, i feel like there are better options out there. Lets not forget in buying Costa we are benching or even selling Mandzukic then cause they play same position.

Not saying that Costa is gonna be amazing or anything, I don't know. But that line of thinking proves nothing. He's not a Carlo player, Pirlo wasn't an Allegri player and was also struggling with injuries and that turned out alright.
We're good at getting the best out of players. It's what we do. Unless we're planning on splashing 100M on the future probable GOATs of the World we need to try and get these steals.
And Mandzukic for all the amazing work he's done this season is not a long term winger solution, he's going to get figured out and/or burned out in 1 Year max in my opinion.
If we don't stack up on (talented) wingers this formation won't last long.
I would be willing to go big on Mbappe, cause he is obviously talented and has a long career ahead. Juve would precisely be a great environment for him to develop. Although im not sure where would he sit on our formation. Although i think he should stay put another year at Monaco. Most major clubs are interested of him but he wouldnt start everywhere actually if he would go for example to Real this summer and given his age, he still has long time to grow and develop. See Ødegaard for example. He is 18 now. In fact turns 19 in december. (same age as Mbappe). He is now playing at Heerenven, midtable dutch team. Good job Real.
Also at Man Utd there would be all this hype. We just signed this, that etc. Then finish outside top 4. But who cares, cause we can sign this and that. They have become the galacticos on the mid noughties.
We're talking about a kid who, with his huge impact, made Monaco first and ahead of one strong PSG in France while also fighting to the top stages of Champions League. I don't seem him as a type of player who tends to disappear in matches, even in big matches at this stage of his career. I also think if he leaves for whichever club that he'll make an instant impact.
Your theory does make sense, overall, but not in a case of Mbappe IMO. I don't even think there's a huge risk for him to choke. Sure, he might end up bad, just like Neymar would have when Barca signed him.

Costa joined 2015. He was Pep player first season. And he only scored 4 goals in the league. Same this year. Even though number wise plenty of games. 50 apps in 2 Bundesliga seasons. 8 goals in total. You might now say, well they have Lewandowski for goals. Robben got 13 league goals this season. And he isnt even playing all the time cause of injury problems. Costa played 50 apps, Robben 41 in the last 2 seasons and got 17 goals.
There simply isnt enough end product with Costa. Also you say he isnt Ancelotti player, but Alexis is going to play same position by the looks of it. So Alexis is and Costa isnt?
I have to ask, how you define which player is manager x and which is manager y type player.
