The only real additions seem to be those tho. Which are both impossible.


But a player like Berna would improve our width considerably and is versatile. Very expensive, but this is what we can realistically do, coupled with older coup's, and young talent.

still, he's not a juve kind of purchase. beppe never enters bidding wars, and mbappe is probably the hottest striker on the market, it's safe to say that every top10 club would break the bank for him.

If we buy Mbappe this summer for 100m, after spending 90m last summer for Higuain this would be the most epic journey I've ever experienced as a fan. Think of the luck Lord Bendtner had in his life so that he can play here? Its astonishing and will be a longtime legend. There would never be a shittier forward in our team until WW3.
Hopefully can put a masterstroke and convince Mbappe to force the move. He was rejected by Real M on a trial and they are heavily invested in lolzillians and that other danish? special kid. Maybe Zidane can change the structure at Real M, but most youngsters don't make it there unless they have a huge price tag...

However, fact is we'll probably play 3-5-2 against RM, meaning we need a capable starting RW, as Allegri doesn't seem to trust cuads (or Alves defensively....) on big occasions.
The important thing is to keep everyone here, except Stu and Lemina obviously.
btw, socially speaking, Costa will fit right in with our south american community, and that's as important as his capabilites.

Ok let me rephrase... Alves is pretty much wasted as an RB, so Allegri puts him upfront instead of Cuads... which was a flawless decision, but still says something about Cuadrado more than anything. but maybe I just hate that 3-5-2 (though it has proved itself on several occasions).

It's not insane. It's the inflated price and the guy is 19yo while it's crystal clear he's gonna be one of the best players in the world.

I'd rather buy him than Neymar too. Just look in what beast will Mbappe turn in a couple of years. But not just that: even this point he would easily walk into almost every top team in the world. I'll mention again: he's only 19!

Signing James Rodriguez for over 80mln was crazy, though.

Real signing a 16yo Vinicius Junior who hasn't played a match for 40mln euros is crazy.

Signing Mbappe for 100mln would be A LOT, but not crazy.

I wouldn't call it cristal clear, It's a gamble, specially as he is just 19 years old.

I am not denying the kid is talented and has lots of potential but he is not an established and proved player. And IMO you pay top dollar for a finished product.

How many wonder kids we have seen in the past years that just didnt make it?
