I'd rather see that than to spend money on Kalinic (who's pretty good, yes). And I'd rather invest it in defense which is quite bad at the moment.

Our board apparently doesnt. They think our defense is good the way it is. Beppe spent the whole summer with deals for Schick and Keita, not with any CB (maybe we asked Atalanta for the return of Caldara and thats about it) or decent first team RB.

We act like we have no money at all. We asked for Caldara and Spinazzola but they told us to fuck off. Pretty hilarious and they are our players.

Keita and Schick are targets because of their potential to be great players. Kalinic has arguably already reached his ceiling.

Our best transfers like Pirlo, Lichtstainer, Vidal, Barzagli, Pogba, Tevez didnt need much funding, sadly Beppe is slowing down and hasnt been bringing the cheap WC players lately.

Gotta admit I underrated Licht during Lazio days, where he was quite good, but I thought he'd choke. Didn't also expect Barzagli to be an absolute gem. However, I absolutely loved when we signed Pirlo, Vidal, Pogba and Tevez. Some others too. I don't have that feeling now when we signed D.Costa and De Sciglio. Nor I have that feeling seeing how we want Renato, Keita and majority of our targets this summer. It's like something went wrong.
