I think it's a stretch -- certainly not a fact -- to say that Dani Alves was the best right back in the world last season. The English/American pundits overdid the Alves praise IMO -- even if he was outstanding in a few of the European matches. He was terrible early on, then hurt. Had a very good second half -- particularly in a few of the CL games, although certainly not a strong final. Brutal in the final. He was also given a more attacking role at times later in the season; nabbed Cuads spot in a few, which didn't hurt his ability to get forward.

Probably no one. Mandzu will alternate between the left and the striker spot.

You're probably right, Sal. Love Mandzu, love the spirit, but this team could still use another good finisher, IMO.

In a perfect world we should do just as we did this mercato so far.

Dani and BonBon have an issue - bye guys, have it elsewhere. All the best coaches have said the same thing - the person comes before the player.

Schick has a medical issue? We don't need to take the risk, yet we offered another way because we like the player. Samp don't like it - fine, bye.

We aren't exactly coming from another disappointing year and our squad is pretty damn good. We are not desperate for players like back in the days. Actually I am kind of thrilled that we have the cash to act on a top player and I have the same name in mind as most. Even if we don't do it and could not reach another CL final - I don't think this season would be a failure by any means.

The only constant is change. If we don't improve, others will, and will catch up to us. We lost two key cogs in defense, and have so far brought in a Bayern bench warmer, a Milan reject, and a goalkeeper. We probably need another CB, we most definitely need a top quality CM, and we need to buy another RB, in addition to another winger/versatile attacking player. This squad is nowhere near ready or good enough as it is now, to compete on equal footing with the best in Europe.

Busquets would do very good in this team. He would cost us fortune though.

Matuidi it is then. Or Nzonzi
I really dont like anyone from Barca except their front 3 and Iniesta but I must say Busquets would add a lot to our team! He wouldnt cost a fortune because Barca wont sell him even for a fortune... and even if they do Busquets will reject moving away.. Spanish player at a top Spanish team + highly rated by the team - We have better chance getting Nainggolan...

Gds is saying Kean will stay until January. I'm for it.
Me either. Hopefully we do this, no point in bringing in new players just to make up the numbers. Higuain + Mandzukic and Kean is more than enough for CF

Totally agreed

Morgan Sanson? I'm fucking desperate JUST GET A MIDFIELDER

why not try and get Fabinho?
Fabinho is non-eu. We have no room for another non-eu player for current transfer window. Benatncur and Costa filled the two spots we've had.

I disagree. We're still the same team except for 2 major players that left but players come and go every Summer for every club. Alves was quality but he wanted to leave and I call it a good riddance. I love him as a player but always disliked as a person. Also, the clock is ticking and time is against him, he's unlikely to reproduce a year like he had with us. If we sign Cancelo, I'll be more than happy with him as replacement.
Bonucci is a tough one, here we downgraded - no point in saying otherwise. Luckily we've got Rugani who IMO is ready to be a starter and in a year we'll have a much better Caldara who is already very good.
Overall we'll be better after this mercato than we were before it. Mainly thanks to depth, because we've had none last year. Top clubs have strong benches and so will we. Costa and Bernardeschi are quality signings, Szczęsny is much better than Neto and De Sciglio will be our bench option. It looks way better than you picture it, we're already a top team that's missing some pieces but we have the money to pull it off.

As for catching up - it's inevitable, really is. It's so much easier to upgrade a squad like Milan has, because they've been shit since forever. Ours is very hard to improve because we're already very good and results confirm that. Be more positive dude

I said, as is. As things stand, we haven't improved, not at all. Hence, if we stay as we are, good luck winning Serie A, let alone competing in Europe. The way we have been operating in this mercato is so haphazard and fucking frustrating. I hope we aren't going to allow the Berna affair to drag on all summer while neglecting other urgent requirements.

Del Piero:

“Evidently, in this case, we’ve reached a point of no return. Milan pulled off a huge coup due to not only the player’s value but also his charisma.

“Now I expect a very big signing from Juve, the purchase of a player who hasn’t been talked about yet."

We agreed with Cagliari for a swap deal between Romagna and Del Fabro.

They will give us Del Fabro + 3mln. We just need Romagna to say yes.

After we get Del Fabro we'll send him to Serie B, most likely Brescia.
