A loophole in the system will save Milan from any repercussions, for this summer at least, because of a 'voluntary agreement' that is in place.

The voluntary agreement is a way that clubs can 'dodge' the restrictions of FFP, and is of real significance to clubs, like Milan, who have recently changed their ownership.

UEFA allow for teams who do not have their accounts in order or those who have recently changed their sources of investment to have three years to come within the parameters set by FFP while avoiding sanctions.

It's even more toothless than I thought :sergio:

Matič would be a good buy. Not a world beater, but would improve Khedira IMO. It's a tough choice between him and Bernardeschi as the latter is very talented, but obviously a starter CM is more needed than a backup winger.
Not that i want him, but having Bernardeschi would be a much bigger upgrade than spending €40m on Matic, who is good, but not THAT much better than Sami.

It’s claimed Inter will launch an audacious bid for Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Marco Verratti.

The Italian international is wanted by Barcelona, but the French club have made it clear that he’s not for sale.

Despite that, Premium Sport is reporting that the Nerazzurri are ready to offer €50m plus Joao Mario to try to convince PSG to let one of their star men leave.

It remains a very difficult deal, however, and Verratti would command very high wages.

dunno, I'm very skeptical about Sami's performances last season, we need someone capable of covering a lot of ground if we're going to play Costa and de Sciglio instead of Cuadrado/Barzagli and Alves on the right side. and we need someone who allows us to play a 3 man midfield in case it doesn't work out at all (I honestly can't see how our 4231 can work out with attacking wingers against strong opponents).

I'd say it's the other way around, Berna is good, but not much better (if at all) than Mandžukič while Matič would be a big upgrade on Khedira. And I'm probably one of Bernardeschi's biggest fans here, would've taken him over Costa without blinking

Yes he is what we missing right now and Chelsea have N'golo Kante so he is not necessary for them. I have read somewhere that Matic said he prefers Man Utd but if he is smart enough he has to come to Juve (The club that make normal players into World Class).

They're not quite the same player. Khedira is a jack of all trades with limited athleticism. Matic excels more with respect to defense. He plays to dispossess his opponents.

We're getting a kid for Primavera. Sandro Kulenovic.

Inter offering 50mln for Vidal.

QS saying we'll go after Belotti if we sell Higuain to Chelsea.

Inter ready to offer 22mln + 3mln bonuses for Keita.
Belotti is a 30-40m euro player and Torino is asking 100m for him. In my opinion he will have a Imobile kind of career. He has absolutely no attributes that could make him into anything special.

Mbappe is the way to go. If that is not possible we should break the bank for Sanchez. Move Dybala to CF with Sanchez behind, like the Sanchez/ Di Natale or Vasquez/ Dybala partnerships. When we need someone more physical udfront we could move Mandzu or hopefully Schick there. We could even shift around during the match with our starting 11.

I dont think Higuain will be sold, but I would gladly take Sanchez over him.

Sanchez reportedly is requesting a wage that's approximately as big as Higuain's, Dybala's and Mandžukič wages combined, I don't think that would sit well with the squad if everyone is making 2m-7.5m per year and one guy has a 18m wage or something similar. Sure, the transfer fee is not that high and a Higuain sale could fund that wage for some years, but we won't do it, stop dreaming

Garbage can.

He'll never reach the level Khedira has now.
I always claimed Khedira is underrated but now you are underrating Can - He isnt a bad player, he is even good although he is not great
I see our needs this way:
1. RB - must know how to attack and defend
2. RW/LW (depends on D.Costa) - Must know to dribble, needs to have some shooting skills but also need to know how to to create
3. CM - Must has some physical presence even if he doesnt has to be Mr.Universe.. Needs to know how to attack but even more importantly needs to know how to defend
4. Schick-If we get him we need no one but if not we need a CF (sub) - need to have potential and eye for goal

RB - My choice is Cancelo even if I dont really rate his defensive skills - Our board seem to take De Sciglio for this position
RW/LW - My choice is Mbappe but my realistic choice is Keita - Our board seem keen on Bernardeschi who is more expensive and probably not as good as Keita
CM - I really dont know what is our budget for this and who we are going to get - Kroos is obviously great even if not 100% fit for my description - our board seem to like Matic who fits the description
CF - If we dont take Schick there are other players like that Celtic CF but of course if healthy Schick is everyone`s first option as he is also Serie A proven

Keep the Dream alive.

Nobody is going to pay Sanchez 18m in wages. I think he will get 9-10m net in the end, and that puts him in our range. Maybe offer him something like 8 + 2 m.

Higuain vs Sanchez isnt really something that should be discussed as its like comparing Chiellini to D.Costa..
Higuain is a pure scorer while Sanchez is more the Dybala type (AM/SS)
If we take Sanchez he will play on the right Dybala in the center and D.Costa on the left all behind Higuain - He wont be the front striker as he is not really suitable for this as he is far more suited to the AM/SS role

he's already at 10m I think and even if he won't get 18m I think he will get a substantial raise

I liked his proposal of having Dybala as the CF and Sanchez as the SS, would love to see us playing with 2 small forwards, I really liked the Quagliarella-Del Piero partnership back in the day before Quag got injured. Sadly it won't happen, we also have Mandžukič, who's been one of our best players and Costa who's expensive as fuck, no way they're both going to bench as rotational options.

What are your thoughts on Can?
Not worth the money.

Nice squad player maybe, shouldn't start over Khedira though.

I know. i just think that, if it can only be one of the two, adding Bernardeschi would add more to our game than Matic.
