yeah 100% serious. the best are those like Osman and Ocelot jumping in with oneliners like "why should we sign Balotelli" or "anyone suggesting Balotelli shouldnt be taken seriously anyway" without any idea what the context of the discussion is and without providing any alternatives. i dare anyone of those xpreds to come up with a better backup CF while being as cheap as Balotelli is, in a summer where we will have to spend 100Mish money on wingers and a CM alone, to keep this formation going.

exactly why i suggested him, hes a freebie and we cant afford to waste money on a CF when we need wingers/AMs, so if we dont want a useless scrub then Balo looks to be the best solution. and yes, i do think we need an extra CF. Mandzukic should play majority of our games out wide next season again and we dont have other alternatives in case of a Higuain injury: Kean will come good, but not earlier than 2018 imo

I don't think we are looking to sign a player who is strictly a CF because of the squad size limitations. We're looking at someone who is a wide player but can possibly play as a CF if needed. We already have three players who can play that position anyways we just need more cover for the other attacking positions so that we can rotate if needed.

Whether you choose to believe it or not Balotelli has a huge ego on the pitch and quite likely off it too. We don't need someone sulking, not giving their all for their team and being a liability on the pitch with erratic behavior. I can guarantee that there is no possibility of us signing Balotelli or even considering signing him.
