Raheem Sterling is one of the players in Juventus' sights to strengthen the attack, but there is one obstacle, his €12M a year wage. It remains to be seen whether Chelsea will be willing to help the Bianconeri by paying a part of the player's salary.

€12M? No problem for us, as long as he isn't Chiesa.

Rugani accepts being back up and plays in rotation system. He is always available to cover the spot when other options are out of form or injured. The most important point is that he is on low wage and moreover he is our last problem at the current panic situation that we are on.

If we truly can't find a winger on the last day of the mercato, we should inquire about Cesar Huerta. I'm watching him play right now. His team is losing but he's been the most electric player on the pitch.

>23 y/o Mexican LW at Pumas
>very cheap - transfermarkt value of 5m
>good first touch
>flair and fancy
>transfermarkt picture of him is funny
>our only competition is Girona, who we can actually outbid for once

But why try that when he's expiring
I don't know. Maybe they weren't sure if they'd want to offload him or keep him at the time? Maybe they wanted a transfer sum?

Instead of wasting time and funds on unnecessary gambles i would’ve genuinely rather just kept him around as CB backup instead of the names we are being linked with now.

Chiesa, McKennie, Nicolussi-Caviglia, Kostic, Rugani, De Sciglio, Szczesny, Arthur…

How many of these will still be at Juventus on September 1?
My guess is that at least half of them are very likely to end up staying.

Agreed. Don’t understand why he would be extended then excluded. Child like management of the squad. He’s been loyal and a good player who is happy to be on the bench and always puts a shift in when he plays. Also hardly a saleable asset. We’re paper thin in defence - get him reintegrated

It's a traditional approach that we automatically extend the contract of players who are on the final year to prevent losing them for free. as far as i remember we extended Khedira contract when he was out for a half of season due to injury.

Yesterday I listened to an interview with Bonucci. He said that he still wanted to feel like a football player and decided to leave when Juventus told him he's not considered part of the squad.
I wonder what that bunch of rejects are thinking right now? If they're holding on to Juve like a plague because they know they won't make it anywhere else is it worth to reintegrate them into the squad like so many posters want for Chiesa for example? In my view they are all done at this level and it's better to give a chance to players like Savona and Adzic.
What's worse is that Bonucci was already 36 with plenty of silverware to his name and still wanted to play while these guys are relatively young and all they care about are those last years of relatively good wages even at the cost of their further career and legacy.
And don't tell me they have every right to demand that money because it's BS. Even regular people when they're smart enough to save some money aside when they see that things are not going well with their career are taking a step back and accept a lower salary in a different environment or go back to school to restart their careers.
If they indeed end up being frozen out for a whole year it will have a disastrous effect on their further careers.

I'd have kept Rugani as well, but seems that Giuntoli and/or Motta really didn't want him.

Oooh, a fun guessing game!

I'm going to say Chiesa & McKennie.
And I hope Rugani as well. If only to avoid us, once again, spending money we don't have.

Romano: Giuntoli set to finish mercato strong for Juventus. Eyes set on Turkey now with loans + obligations to buy for Icardi and Immobile.
Both want only Juventus.
"Strong."
