At this point we have no choice but to hope Junes and the new mgmt are competent and know what they’re doing.

Although I’m getting Diego and Melo vibes
Competent in recognizing talent? Or in managing risk? I think at this point the main concern is the wage bill, so even if say there was a hot free agent around we wouldn't approach: opex vs capex

Valid point. Aside from Susan’s salary, Tek and others need to be offloaded. Jj can’t practice ticinomics again and pay for players to leave

Only logic selling Soule was to raise cash for other players like Koop and Todibo and replace him with loan deals which was Sancho all this while . The only way we will deal for Nico Gonzales is if Fio accepts a loan deal or a player swap deal like what we did for Douglas Luiz. Or if we drop Koop but i dont think thats going to happen.
So i think on Nico its going to be tough. We most likely will get someone in on loan like Sancho.

On selling players , we still got the hard to sell- Tek, Rugani, De Sciglio and Arthur. My expectation is all this will either go for loan or stay with the club.
Can sell but depend on player: McKennie, Chiesa,Kostic and Hans - target is to raise 50 mil here.

Its tough business for Guintoli now.

So 100 mil on doug lu and koop? Both 26, so if they flop no way we recovering shit, great plan mate
I see your point but these are well-established players with a proven record in major leagues. What's more, they're regularly called up for Netherlands and Brazil. Dunno what would need to happen for them to become worthless all of a sudden.

Koop was top this season, its true that he had ederson behind him, but with luiz and thuram he will fit perfect. If we excange mckenie and kostic with gonzales, buy todibo, chiesa stays and we add some young talented winger, this team will be scudetto contender.

Where do I sign for Nico Gonzalez?

I've seen players like him, who dominate in some serie A teams and then flop in a a big club, so that will remain a concern if we sign him (Turk will rightfully remind us of Jorge Martinez in Catania/Juve). But I've also seen him play and I loved what I saw. I'd be willing to take the risk.

P.S: Wait, we're talking about the guy from Fiorentina, or someone else?
This

Great numbers at Fiorentina too.

If he’s good enough for the Argentina NT, he’s more than good enough for us.

We need To sign Todibo, Koop/or any AM + 2 wingers (if Chiesa leaves). Eventually Milik replacement.
Ideal World Best case scenario: loan for Todibo (5-10m), Koop = 50m, loan for Sancho or any other LW, Nico Gonzalez = 10-15m + McBurger, exchange Chiesa for Raspadori , all this = 75m+ which we have 40m budget so we need to generate 35m from selling MDS, Schezny, Hans, Kostic, Milik, Rugani’s loan, Barbieri and savings from higher salaries of these above

Will we do transfermarkt.com swap McKennie(28m) with Nico Gonzales (35m). This would be a massive coup for both teams in terms of profit books. I think both club will getting around 20+m profit respectively. Win win cook
