Chiesa only has one more year left on his contract.

At the moment I think all of this transfer speculation is premature, he is 100% concentrating on the Euros and I can see us most likely re-signing him once it’s over. It would be a weird move for us to sell one of our few superstars who happens to be Italian as well.

that may be true but Napoli paid 10m for him and gods residual value would be low and we are talking about a 30 year old full back vs arguably Italy’s most dangerous attacking player in his mid 20s
