If 25m is the market value ascribed to Chiesa, then I would rather sell Soule for 45m. If that is his market value, lots of clubs will come out of the woodwork for his signature.

I reckon he is worth at least 35m - or maybe more. I can see EPL clubs lining up for his signature.

it would criminal if we sell Chiesa because he wants 7m and at the same time give 7.5m to Rabiot lol.
If we want to save money and this is crucial for the club we should get rid of both Chiesa and Rabiot, but keep Soule on low wages. Else it doesnt make sense.
Its really no secret that the guys with wages 5m + net are a burden for us.

As I said previously, the only reason Rabiot can get 7.5m is because he is a free agent - so he knows the club doesn't have to pay amortizations on a transfer fee. Chiesa will be in a much better bargaining position if he doesn't sign a new contract. I don't think the club is ready to shell out 7.5m in wages for Chiesa because of multiple reasons. Firstly, it is not yet 100% clear whether he is the profile of player that Motta wants; 2). Chiesa has a patchy injury record. You can say what you want about Rabiot, but he is generally injury free.

Chiesa was played as a striker and he lacks something strikers are capable of doing - being a dependable goal scorer. Now as a winger, he might do a lot more on assists of course. Time will tell.

Add to that Vlahovic earning 12 million euros net this season.Cant really understand these ridiculous contracts being handed out.

Giovanni DiLorenzo feels abandoned by Napoli and for this reason he informed new sporting director Manna of his intention to leave the club this summer. Things were worsened as the news leaked prior to the end of the season which brought in a chorus of boos from the Napoli fans
Napoli want €20m for the fullback and Conte respects him, trying to convince him to stay. The matter is open but Juventus and Inter are waiting .(@NicoSchira/Tuttosport)

Both those contracts were handed out by the previous management.

So far, officially, Giuntoli managed to convince Rugani to take a 50% paycut in his salary and extended Cambiaso's contract with a slight increase. And reportedly trying to get the likes of Chiesa, Vlahovic, Rabiot etc to agree to a lower salary.

And if anything, Allegro's dismissal proves how this current management are working on an elaborate cost cutting program at the moment.

Let's not lose our shit before anything's official yet.

I could tell in the middle of my sleep who you don't want at Juve, but can never figure out who would you like to have. I bet your life would be complete if football would not exist anymore lol
My favorite players are Baggio and Zidane. Past players I enjoyed watching besides those two are Del Piero, Davids, Nedved, Trezeguet, Vidal, Dybala, Pirlo, Tevez, and Pogba.

Of the current batch, I'd retain Cambiasso, Chiesa, Vlahovic, Fagioli, Yildiz and Bremer. That's about it.

Juventus are considering renewing Charley #Alcaraz loan for next season. The Argentine did not fully convince in his short spell last season but missed some time with injury. The event of another loan, will also land the club a chance to reduce his €50m redemption fee. (@SkySport )

I would actually be for another loan. I don’t think he played enough for a proper evaluation and they’re gonna need depth. He’s still got an interesting profile and is only 21.

@MCriscitiello: "Juventus offered €20 million to Napoli for Di Lorenzo . I believe that keeping Di Lorenzo at Napoli is now impossible and Napoli will have to sell him after all this drama. If all goes well, Napoli will collect €25 million from his sale.Juve have offered a contract of 3.5 million euros per year till 2028 as wages for di Lorenzo."

20 fucking mill? We could get Tiago Santos for less ffs.a

We'd be lucky to see anyone decent for 20 mill, let alone someone washed up approaching 31....

The fuck is this? Probably isn't true...if it is, he's another ambitionless cuck.
I'm sure Chiesa has ended contract talks with Juve so he can join lesser clubs not in the Champions League like Roma or Napoli, all while taking a paycut

Give me a break on some of these reports

if Chiesa leaves Juventus, I'd have to imagine he's going abroad

We all thought the same about Dybala...

you said he was washed up, when in fact he just had one of his better seasons. 20M is not the problem for a player of his caliber, the problem is the theoretical five year contract. If it was a shorter contract I’d be all for it.
No 20 mill for someone turning 31 coming IS A PROBLEM along with his contract demands and length too

20 million for a declining Di Lorenzo and a 4 year contract - stupid!

We don't need to pay the Napoli and Di Laurentis tax to buy a guy who isn't even that great, in the process giving Napoli necessary funds to go for other targets, targets that might be of interest to us.

Shop in Ligue 1 or look elsewhere for interesting talent and experienced players. Fuck this whole Serie A experience and retaining an Italian core. Go for the best possible players at the best possible prices. This potential Di Lorenzo deal just isn't it.

This club will continue to operate just like before. We'll grab opportunities on the market that have some quality, and Di Lorenzo is that. I wouldn't be surprised if we continue to play 90s football even under Motta.

While I rather we get a young dude like Kayode, I think you are massively underrating Di Lorenzo who IMO is very good.
Decline? I see a Napoli decline rather than a Di Lorenzo decline.
There is no one Napoli player who replicated last season including Osimeh and Kvara.
4 years are too much though
