Meh. I would like to keep him but at the end of the day if he wants to go it’s hard to keep him. He will probably just get injured again anyway. Sell him for 80M and keep Soule then.
We will be lucky to get 35-40M for Chiesa

Either way, this news is coming from many sources now so I won't really be surprised if he's the one to be sacrificed.

Dumb move, unless we're bringing in an ace winger (no, not Soule) not some overrated shitcunt like Rusty Doris or that rapist from Ingerland.

Also, please don't offer a declining and aging Di Lorenzo a 4 year deal FFS!

Corsport: Chiesa for Sale. He didn't renew.
Chiesa says he wants to stay at Juve. New coach hasnt even been announced yet. I'm sure Motta & Chiesa have had no communication so far and I'm sure Chiesa's reps/Guintoli have had preliminary talks, but not much more.

And Chiesa, who like all players right now, is 100% focused on the national team, all of a sudden doesnt want to extend and will leave

This is absolutely a report we should believe lol

Can we at least wait for the new coach to be announced and for these players to be back from international duty for at least a week before we believe any transfer rumors about important players

If anything he would be off to aston Villa probably, that's why those talk with monchi are worrying
Chiesa to Villa? Highly doubt it.

It just appears to me that he wants to be on the same payscale as the likes of Vlahovic and Fagiot and the club probably disagrees.

Kvara has been heavily linked to PSG. If they sell him, I see Chiesa going to Napoli.

Lot of you are putting Chiesa on the RW in your formations. I'd bet on that not happening.

Also unlike Vlahovic and Bremer, we have a readymade Chiesa replacement/Vice-Chiesa in the squad already and maybe they are really betting on Yildiz to become huge so in that sense, it makes sense to let go off him if we need to make a big sale.

Could be completely wrong though. Let's see what happens.

Villa are playing CL next season, they will get plenty of reinforcements. They were able to buy guys like Diaby and Pau Torres, im pretty sure they could lure Chiesa too.

The issue that remains unresolved is not their willingness to continue working together, as both sides want this, but rather the economic terms. Chiesa wants salary in the top wage bracket. If an agreement is not reached, Juventus intends to consider offers of at least 35/40mln€. [@_Morik92_)

it makes sense. but roma would give him top wages?

give me a break cds. dybala earns less there than at jj. chelsea are paying a big chunk of lukaku's wages. if there's a team in a worse economic position than inda, then it's roma

One thing I've learned about Italian media and Juve the last 20 years is that whenever you hear news about Juve that you don't like then it's usually true.
This. Remember the Lukaku for Dybala saga? Juve actually tried to do it yet overe here some were saying it’s just bullshit media. Same with the Vlahovic sale last summer.

Where there’s smoke there’s fire. Hopefully he renews and fast or else he’s out for peanuts.

I am open to anything - I think we all need to keep an open mind. So if we rant and rave about Chiesa or Soule leaving, its ok so long as the overall squad is all the better for it at the end of the transfer window.

The fact of the matter is, we have not had a good midfield since the Pogba-Vidal_Marchisio-Pirlo days - and it by far remains the weakest element of the squad.

The players we have brought in since then have not really been anything close to that standard. Even the great Luciano Moggi said in a recent interview that the midfield is the key thing Juventus needs to get right and that is also consistent with what Capello has been saying.

Of all of our midfielders, the only ones worth keeping at this stage is Fagioli and even he is far from world class at this stage - but worth keeping for development. All of the rest in my view are saleable. Rabiot is a close second - yes his renewal is pricey but you always have to compare that to buying a new player and taking into consideration amortization, wages etc and what Motta can do to make the most of him. Locatelli should be sold IF someone was willing to spend the money on him but given his small market value it might not be worthwhile. The midfield needs an overhaul more than any other department. McKennie should be sold too - he is ok but could fetch us some much needed $$ to fund our midfield overhaul. The Pogba contract termination can't happen soon enough. Barrenchea is worth giving a shot too - he played some good games for Frosinone and maybe there is something there. Miretti is also worth selling if a suitor with a reasonable offer comes along.

I am no expert on many of the potential names but Koopmeiners, Thuram etc have. been linked. Even if it means that one of Soule or Chiesa needs to be sacrificed to achieve a much improved midfield so be it. I am a huge Chiesa fan, but much like Dybala, when he is fit and can string a good 10 games together. Chiesa is good at being an attacking winger - so hopefully that is something Motta can work on if he stays.

The 2023/24 season was one of my least favorite to watch as I felt we played some very negative and poor football. The key positives for me where Cambiaso and Yildiz.
