Gudmundsson sounds like plan B after Fergusons injury. Doesn’t matter though, he’s a good player too, just get it done.

calafiori
gudmundsson

would be a good start. Need a winger or two if Motta is gonna be the coach.

Ferguson is an all action CM/DM type that plays AM well. Gudmundsson is a silky dribbling CF/wing forward that can play AM. Its odd if they were like for like alternatives for one another?

Yeah and we need both. Fagioli returns, I guess he'll take up a regular spot with Loca but with Rabiot and McKennie leaving there's still a gap or 2 to fill centrally.

And wingers/versatile attackers, well obviously a big need.

I agree, but just clarifying for Daniel who seem to think they play the same way.

And we won't get Ferguson after his ACL tear. But there's several players of that type we can target.

Yeah who we get to replace Rabiot, Mckennie and Pogbas salary spot will be key this summer.

Good luck finding someone with Mckennie’s salary and his consistency and output.

Stupid club.

I like Mckennie, but he won't be hard to replace as rotation player. Any competent GM worth his salt should he able to find players at that level.
Just like I asked @s4tch, what players could we potentially buy that would be as consistent as McKennie and garner 10 assists under such a shit manager?

If McKennie was Italian he would be off the market and they would give him 5 million a year.

With 'as consistent as McKennie' you mean one very good season out of three, right?

I like him but he rejected the extension proposal according to Italian sources which is why we'll probably looking to cash in on his good season.

You didn't either. I need the information before assessing targets because there's probably a whole bunch of players that play 1/3 good seasons but if you're holding him to diff standards, I'd rather skip the question ;)
If he’s so easily replaceable then surely you should have some ideas in mind.

But just like everyone else you don’t.

I hope McKennie moves on to a club with better fans.

Fuck shopping in Italy and buying Italian players, especially if we have to pay a premium for them. There's a dearth of quality when it comes to Italian players now anyway.

As for McNuggets, if he wants close to 5 million a year post taxes, he can probably get that in the EPL, but we shouldn't be paying it and he's definitely not worth it.

Can you name them?
I only know koopmeiners that in juve level
I agree thought especially if Motta is the coach

Ooh, I rarely ever watch anything else than Juve anymore. I'd need some research with the names but Ederson or Fabian Ruiz for example come to mind from the well known and linked bunch.

Fagioli should easily replace him anyway imo. He plays the same position. So it's Rabiots spot that needs a starter in theory.

So you do acknowledge he only played one good season out of three? If our sporting director doesn't find anyone like that, he's the one that needs replacement.

he certainly deserves better. he's bigger than the club after all

as i said nobody has a crystal ball to tell you who would provide similar amount of assists. 7 league assists are a lot and it is well appreciated. the lack of his consistency lies elsewhere: he can't pass consistently (his pass accuracy is rather shit tbh), he can't tackle consistently, he can't keep the ball consistently, he can't create consistently, he can't be relied on with counters consistently, he's not a consistent dribbler, he can't even cross consistently, etc.

he's an all right rotational player. this season he's also kinda lucky to have vlahovic around to score a lot of goals from his passes, and he's also lucky that he had an other chance after he relegated leeds and proved that even for 20m he's a bit too expensive if he's not working hard enough.

i'd take many, many players over him. i'd trade him for a more consistent passer to begin with. even someone like fagioli would lift the overall performance of this team. or if mikel merino is the replacement then it's a huge upgrade. savio from girona can do everything mckennie does and then some more. koopmeiners' attacking contribution is much better too. even golovin from monaco became a more complete and mature player lately. (too bad he's russian, i wouldn't trust those for a second.) and the list is very long. if vlahovic stays around and keeps this form then he'll score consistently from usable passes.

McKennie has turned down the renewal offer and is heading towards a separation from Juventus this summer unless he reduces his wage demands.(@TuttoMercatoWeb)
Is this talentless rugby player seriously demanding higher wages? He's having an identical season as his first one under Pirlo, the difference being that he scored more and assisted less back than, but overall it's the same shit. We all know what happened after his first season and we can assume pretty safely that he'll be back to sucking in no time.
Just because Vlahovic managed to score goals out of nowhere and McKennie simply happened to be the one passing the ball to Dusan, doesn't give McKennie the right to demand higher wages.
He should be ashamed of himself and apologize to the fans for the terror shows in 3 out of 4 matches in his Juve career. But this non-footballer has no shame obviously. I will celebrate for days when he leaves.
Hopefully he'll take Weah with him, because Weah is the only one worse than McKennie in our team. And hopefully we learned the lesson not to buy North American players.

Roma want Chiesa :numnum:
They don't have the kind of money that would make me keen to sell tbh.

- - - Updated - - -

There's not a single player in this team I'd give a shit about if they left. Obviously realistically you can't replace an entire team in one go but whoever we decide to let go is fine by me.

Such an unlikeable & weak team.
I'd be upset if this is where it ended with Dusan. Maybe Chiesa too, but his injuries are what have prevented him from being Italy's best wing forward of all time. Dusan's story has much more of a romantic edge and I want him to see redemption before he goes.

Bremer I love, Danilo too but maybe that's because I've missed a lot of games this season, I heard he's not been great?

I'm vaguely attached to Cambiaso, Locatelli, Gatti and Fagioli but the rest of them I wouldn't miss if they left.
