New director should help a lot with this. Seems like every director since Marotta has the "privilege" mentality.

What I mean by privilege is that they are used to being a rich club and so selling for a loss or break even is fine for them. It's the only thing they know since they've had power. Marotta came from a club where you had to make astute signings and sales and he brought that thought process even to a big club like Juventus and Inter. Giuntoli is much the same to me. Napoli doesn't have the privilege to breakeven or take a small loss on sales and thus he strives hard not to do so.

Contrast that with Paratici who I believe always took that privilege for granted and did much the same in Tottenham. Buying big, selling low or at a loss and shrugging the shoulders because why not, we're a big club, who cares.

I think Giuntoli will return us to that mentality which is a NECESSARY mentality as world football struggles with competing against the financial muscle of the EPL. You must always think of the financial implications in everything. This could be the first sign of a return to that thought process.
