This time its clearly media BS imo. Especially lately its become clearer certain mainstream sources entire bussiness is chasing clicks with negative takes on Juve. To make the badass and Turk_Bianconeros of the world rage enough to keep coming back for more.

Since Marotta left no big media really has any inside scoops for Juve management. Heck they prolly barely know who is in our management right now. Cherubini who until a year or 2 ago was the least experienced there, is now most experienced for football matters, and he is banned from working lol.

So now its bunch anonymous company PR/finance or accountancy people temporarily house sitting while we reboot the entire football structure. Makes it ripe for media to speculate as much as they want. When no one knows who's really in charge.

You say Pogba 2.0, I say Its potentially Pirlo 2.0 to get a 30 year old Verratti. Unlike Pogbas decline past years, no one who has actually seen him play can doubt Verratti isn't top class as soon as he steps on the pitch. He doesnt grab headlines, but PSG is half the the team any time he doesnt play for them.

Look at his errors vs Bayern. Look i like Verratti but he is not on the level of Pirlo and his injury record is really bad. We should really be aiming at players who can actually stay fit. Not another potentially never available guy who will earn around 10m net.

Kovacic, every day before Verratti.

Tired of taking end-of-life players from other clubs, Verratti and all his colleagues have been pampered like never before, and in return there is a series of disappointments with pitiful eliminations, a weak mentality, repetion injuries and a deplorable lifestyle. It's sad for him as for Neymar, but at 30 they've already been declining players for several years.

I think the bottom line is we need to build gradually. No sense in trying to build a CL contender in a window or three from this catastrophe of a squad. No sense in high risk, high reward moves. Sort the mess first, bring the wage bill down so we can profit from our financial superiority locally and only when the house is in order try to jump above our asses again.

Also we should be looking at low key players, dunno if it's not too late but for example that Thuram guy from Nice looks like a massive dm/mezzala in the making.

he's a given signing basically and won't be enough. i'd sign an other cm too

neither of the bums will stay beyond preseason
I'm not sure if it will be that easy to get rid of them this time. Zakaria could stay for me, but the rest should be send somewhere asap.

Kovacic is one of them. 29 years old and whenever i watch him, he does jack shit on pitch.

Too late, already talk of Newcastle and £60m for him. But agree, would be interesting to take a shot on a few overseas talents before they get everyone following.

I'm guessing they will either extend Rabiot or sign Frattesi.

So then were looking at

Rabiot or Frattesi
Locatelli
Pogba
Fagioli
Rovella
Miretti

That's six, which is usually the number they carry. And that number doesn't include any next gen players that could break into the squad at some point next season, ie Nonge

Verratti is nearly a decade older than Rovella, significantly more expensive, and constantly unavailable. But I'm the idiot.
He is also vastly more proven. I am the forums biggest Rovella stan but i wouldnt go into the season assuming he will just be a starter and we should pass up verratti cause of him lol
